Supra mk4 flames are red now

Seems they changed the flame color. Only other time ive seen red flames is when I had engine swapped the first skyline with the racecar r92cp engine. Would be nice to have a list of cars with red flames for some comparison. Or if upgrades affect it in any way

Supra has 400hp in basic engine mods (block untouched) but stock turbo with anti lag setting to weak. Would be cool if they could make the flames look even better next update. Since they dont compare visually to some of the best looking car games. I like what theyre doing with it, having variation in the flame generation but it needs a bit of spit and polish.

Did they change flame colors on other cars too ?
Is it more accurate?
Or has the way exhaust flame work.. Since last year has it been revamped overall? I didnt pay too much attention to it this year

Red/Orange flames have been present forever. Also, what car games look better than this? Especially the flames... I think GT7 has the most natural looking exhaust flames.

Most games use canned animations that always look the same...

supra mk4 hasnt had red flames before. My question is why change it from the blue? I must admit I like the blue better on most cars. Just more variation in flames and colors and depending on the car and engine "flames generated" can be huge which is awesome


Can see where theyre going with it but on PS5 it still looks rather choppy than fluid. Especially the red flames.
Also the position of the flame should be more in line with the tailpipe. You can see it from the side view where it should be. As it sits some cars need it to be positioned better but i dont see it changing since Im the first to complain about it this far into the games life. Lol

Though its pedantic. I much rather they work on the bonnet and window reflection resolutions on the ps5 first then worry bout the flames in the next game

Flame colour depends on the car tune, some engine swaps will have specific flame colours but I think for the most part cars with certain exhausts/power outputs will have red flames and giving it more power will make them start popping more blue.

I have a Mitsubishi GTO that spews red flames. Always did.

They haven't changed a single thing as far as I'm aware. Sport exhausts have always spewed red flames while the racing exhausts have always spewed blue flames.

It’s something you probably won’t notice driving in daylight conditions. The effect is far more visible during night, dawn or dusk.
