surfing the lobbies

I'm quite new to this piece of the game. I just entered the online lobbies last sunday to look around a bit.
I found a nice lobby picking one at random.
Yesterday I checked again but was not able to find it anymore.
Is there any good hint to go back to specific lobbies? The filtering on the left side of the screen doesnt' allow to search for names, as far as I understand.

Lobbies are run by individual players, which means any individual lobby of course is only available when the player hosting it is doing just that.
I think you can filter by "friends" which would require to PSN friend the host of the lobby to make it easier to find.
