This is a Time Trial on the Cape Ring course using American non-race cars with 500PP or less. Tyres are limited to Sports/Hard or less.

But I must say that it is some humor in it. He drives the car in a way that he probably thinks the police is right behind him. Its an escape drive
And how many cars has he tried before he got thru with it?

He's sitting at #1 so yes, there is a replay. Just plain out cheating. Like I said, soon this tt will be cancled now.

Sometimes when there are only a few 'cheaters' they just remove those entries instead of the whole event.

It could be a glitch, different combinations of logging into psn, saving the game, logging back in to PSN, downloading the seasonals have produced some strange bugs. I once did something along those lines and couldnt enter any seasonal events until I quit the game. I also couldnt use Kart Space until I deleted my entire installed game data and patches.

My point is only that the game is far from perfectly airtight, though I would suspect that Kristoff is intentionally exploiting a glitch for his advantage.

I'll send him a message and ask him whats up.
(Maybe some one who speaks french can message him too?)

Anybody with access to the database on PD's servers could delete it in a few seconds.
But I don't think they actively police the leaderboards.

There is a replay as I wrote in my post above. I dont think this is a entering by misstake. Its someone who are having the time of his life now. He got those 15 minutes of fame in the world of gt5

Its interesting that, not only did it let him use a car that is not allowed due to its country, but the tires and race car type are not allowed either. Seems like a pretty major bug, but may be hard for PD to replicate to figure out how it happened.

i put racing softs on my shelby series1 and tried to enter the tt and it let me.
needless to say i didnt run a lap to be targeted as a cheater.
i he wants that label for when he goes online racing with the community thats up to him.
probably some teenager who just did it for a laugh.
feel for you guys who put in the time on the laps trying to shave off thousandths when something like this happens-sort it out pd.

I'm suspecting that is because you have the required Sports Hards in your items inventory. As long as you have the required tires as an installable option for that particular car, it will let you enter with whatever tires are on the car at the moment. At least, it did when I last checked it.

If there are more times like this, I'm hoping that PD can find a way to filter on the times for cars that are outside of the regulations, once they correct this (if they correct this), that they can just remove those offenders and not have to start the whole thing over.

I woulnt know if I could enter with Racing soft. I aint gonna try. Nice to know we are at least two

I think it only let you in because you already had Sport Hards purchased for the car. When you entered with the Racing Softs, look at the Driving Options menu and it would put the Sport Hards back on.

I think it only let you in because you already had Sport Hards purchased for the car. When you entered with the Racing Softs, look at the Driving Options menu and it would put the Sport Hards back on.

That is what I posted above as well. As long as the correct tires are in your inventory for that car, it will allow entry and switch the tires. Unless he confirmed that his car was wearing RS at the race start screen, I'm thinking that you and I have the right idea. 👍
