Did you have CS all through quali, race 1 and race 2?

I've noticed sometimes that changes i've done while in an online lobby don't carry over to offline or the next online lobby i join so i guess if you change tires every week in online lobby but then don't use the car offline in between it could be the same every week. :P (at least that means i can actually beat someone)

Race 1 I had SM. Race 2 pre-pit stop I had SM and after the pit stop I had CS on.

After the last update I have a glitch where by it keeps putting the default tyres on that the car came with.

Bloody frustrating.

That's a weird glitch, have never experienced that one myself. It's a bit sad that they're trying so hard to put out updates to make the game better but for every update something new goes wrong that they'll have to fix in the next update.

I phoned Sony yesterday to pass on my complaint but still waiting for them to solve a problem I raised in July so had a rant about that too.

I'm not holding my breath.

I suppose they get a lot of calls.. you'll just have to hope they fix your thing in a patch, not someone elses problem. :P I wonder if there will be any more patches to GT5, it's getting pretty old now.

Old....well yes but they could keep it fresh by putting other stuff in it even if you have to have to pay for it.

Yeah of course, just wondering for how long they'll do that or if they will turn their full attention to GT6 soon..

Well don't expect GT6 anytime soon, probably not until 2014.

They'll have a team on GT6 and a smaller team on snagging GT5. What would be nice is to put some more tracks in from GT4 like Midfield Raceway.

But I still wonder if we really will see more tracks and stuff in GT5, I would think the small team would cram out small fixes to things that don't work right and all the coursemaking dudes are off to make the new game. But I might be wrong, I would love to be wrong. But I like to think this way and be surprised rather than thinking we'll get more track and all that and then don't get it. :P

Just a thought, FlyingFox, but wouldn't you be better off contacting P.D. about the default tyre issue as Sony doesn't actually make the game itself?

Well the number I called is for all things Playstation. They then pass information on to the relevant developer (so they say).

I will look for a number for PD but I bet its a Japanese number.

What laptimes at cape ring south are you others have? My best so far is 1:33:4xx with DS3.

FlyingFox, i added you on psn.

Yeah, you'll rarely get a public number for a developer.

Could you imagine all the crap PD would get.

LOL well played. I checked P.D.'s English site and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact them other than snail mail. The U.S. GT site's "Contact Us" link points to Sony's Playstation site. Looks like you won't be able to do any better, F.F.

I'd say you'll do good, I could only get down to 1:35.282.. but if you watch the championship table I'm not one of the better ones so I guess you'll be one of those. ^^

All I can do is wait and hope they fix the glitch. I just wonder if they have a "fix activation number" of say 10,000 then in the next update its sorted.

Here's hoping.

Looks like I'll be only racing Rome and Laguna Seca, because I have a party to attend on Sunday afternoon and I don't know which time it finishes. Dman, I'm still really looking forward to race those Swifts!

Wow. Got a phone call just from the Playstation team regarding my tyre glitch.

They wanted some more info about it and will now forward it onto PD. Result.

Wow that's unexpected but it's great to see something actually happening. Hope it gets fixed for you, and all others who might have that problem.

Edit: did anyone else test out the track? are all of you as fast as that new dude? :P

cape ring south today which is a new venue for the swifts i think, not done any testing amd won't do any laps until i enter the room

I should be able to make the sprint race today but I have a birthday party to leave for so I doubt I'll have time to stay for the feature race. The track is very interesting. :)

I decided to plug in my wheel this time, realized how long it was since i did it ^^ It's great, doing some seasonals to warm up. :P
