Man you people are lucky, a 280z in perfect condition. Over here in the states, those things are rare! And if you see one, they are mostly all rusty and stuuf. And you guys get skylines. I want to move.

well the 280ZX was quite hard to come by in such good condition. It was a luck find. mind you i've been searching for a few weeks for a stock one in original condition. Most of the ones on the market in good condition are usually customised in some way or other. So even here in Australia it's a pretty rare find. Very happy with it.... 
The skylines are a dime a dozen... although R34's aren't as common as the R32 & R33's. Since Japanese cars are right hand drive as well, importing isn't that expensive. And only a few things need to be modified on them to be complianced with the Australian design regulations.
If you take a walk down one of our more well known roads nick named "Auto alley" or parramatta rd and have a look at the secound hand car dealers, there are hundreds of 'lines available.

Thanks dude.... I do love to do photo shoots at motegi. but I think I might give it alittle rest and try something new.... so i think I might attempt a batch of black and white shots next. the week 30 pmc has inspired me

The first three of the 280ZX don't look realistic at all. What were you thinking? WAY too much photoshopping on those, the skyline was obviously pasted in there

The PMC 30 inspired me to do some more black and white photography. I also wanted to continue the BMW tribute segment so i thought I'd combine the two for Part 3.

thats the lot for now.... i'll think I might be putting the tribute for a little while, I've had inspiration for other shots not BMW related, but I will finish it off eventually. Either way when I do continue it I'll let all know in the thread title.

Kenny, thanks for the comments dude, I'm gald you like it. I thought I'd go for something that although all of us have tried at one stage or another, you don't really see an awful lot of b & w shots.
PERFECT BALANCE, hehe yeah, it would be good if I could post more pics up, but unfortunatly time is against me..
I do take a few shots usually but less than a third of them will ever make it in to the gallery. Plus I photoshop my pics before they get posted and that can be time consuming unfortunatly.

Aaarrrhhh... I can't help it... I went back to motegi for yet another set of photos. Anyway, for those that don't know yet, I've now won my 2nd comp... Week 30 PMC. It was with this picture.....
Oh yeah and this picture received a H.M. in the Week 8 advanced 2.0 comp. theme; Wild west.
For the Week 32 PMC, I picked Nissan Z fesitval theme. This entails 1 or more Nissan Z'ds at a Japanese circuit to be photographed. The only problem is that I can't enter the comp myself, and well being a bit of a Z buff and proud owner of a 300ZX (Z32) and now also a 280ZX (Pics of my new toy on page 5), I really enjoy taking pics of these cars.
So anyway, I thought I'd do a little photoshoot with the least desired Z of the bunch.... the Z31.
Oh yeah.... and I promise to choose a different location for a photoshoot for my next batch of pictures.
My favorite of the lot......

Thanks for all the great comments guys.... I really had fun with the Mines pics. The track is just awsome for photoshoots.
@ cbljkkj, As LandoAWD said... car wash is always a good thing to do before a photoshoot. Then all you need is a track that will have high contrasts.
Also alittle PS work dosn't go astray to make sure it really shines. The levels function in PS is great at bringing out the shine. I also add extra layers and add certain colours on to those layers. Then I use an overlay function to really bring out the shine in spots... like the rims for example.

well i havn't updated in a while, but i havn't had many photos i've been entirly happy with. here are a few random shots that turned out alright. enjoy.....
This one is on the Advanced 2.0 comp week 9... the theme: Bathurst
This is my other shot.... but I didn't like it as much as the one above....
These two shots are for Week 10 Advance comp... but i'm entirly happy with either one.....
This was my submission for the Minicar comp....I was actually suprised I got a few votes for this one, as I felt that there were some better entires...
And with these three shots, they were the creations of bordom... I was waiting for Bathurst to start and had an hour or so to kill.......
I have another stratos shot as well which is by far better, but imageshack is not loading it at the moment for some reason... so i'll put it up later.
