T300RS - Held off by FFB issues, have they been fixed?

Hi guys.

So, i played the early access "demo" version of GT sport the days before the actual release, and the FFB felt just plain bad. Had to set all settings at the most low point, and the wheel was still shredding my arms, clipping to a degree where you couldn't feel any FFB. The feel for oversteer was piss-poor, and i never managed to recover from any sort of oversteer, because there was out right no feeling for what the cars did. (Do i even need to mention the absurd rumble-pack FBB when cars did understeer? :/ ). The only thing i managed to feel was the absurd amount of "center-pull" when goinbg through corners with faster speeds.

But now with the new story modes, an a few patches, i though it might revisit GT Sport again. But not before asking you guys, if all the above problems have been fixed?

I'm mostly concerned about other T300 RS users, whats the FFB like nowdays? Is it good? Tolerable? Or still miserable?
And it is possible to lower the FFB to a degree that i won't damage neither my arms nor my T300 RS?

Best regards

Your description is exactly what it was like at launch but it's been improved since then. It's adjustable now - it won't tear your arms off nor damage your wheel. The juddering understeer is still there but less pronounced. There's always room for improvement but I'd give it a "good".

As others have already stated, it is better than it was at release but still has the stupid heavy grinding understeer effect when the T300 is switched to PS4 mode. I always use the wheel in PS3 mode which gets rid of that awful effect.

I agree and use PS3 mode as well

Okay, so it's best to use PS3 mode? I wasn't aware of that but I'll give that a try. Thanks! And what settings do you set for the wheel, is that the standard 4, 4 or maybe something else?

I'm on the T300RS and I run a 6/6 FFB setup. Can't say I've had any problems with it. The only thing that I want more feedback on is the oversteer.

FFB is fine for the most part, but the detailed FFB is lacking compared to other (sim)racing games. After a while I got used to being able to tell when my car is about to spin out or lose traction and compensate it immediately.
