Why panic ? The update will be done for you in 5 minutes .

Well I havent got a tiny foot but I mean that the setup is agressive. The camber is 4.0 front and 5.0 rear lol. I bought another BTR ( my 5th lol ) and that one is with less HP and less camber. I dont know how to tune for wheels. Im gettin g the hang of it, but I'm bad in staying in the drift, I do something that causes me to fly into the other side LOL. I guess I should handle my steer with more agression and turn it as fast as a Pizza baker.

And warren, the FD is helpfull, I drifted 1/2 corners in 3 hours LOL. But the FD ( around 310 HP and stock weight ) is better. Easier then the BTR. Evrytime I think I know how I have to do it, but I just cant xD.

And thanks dominique lol.

BTW : if you need money, do the online season events. There are 3 and they give all around a million and 1st prize is a car. Plus a suit and helmet. I think Baha will go for the helmet lol.

thats what you dont do. you have to be smooth! that could be your problem.

I need more practice lol, I only tried to drift for 5 hours lol. AND I have to see how people use the steer when drifting. I think I will look to some of Baha's vids lol. The racing is pretty easy, but I need to know how to tune my cars and how to throttle. And I need better timing xD.

:banghead:

in all honesty, you just think your good at racing. you can go a good bit quicker on wheel than ds3..:dunce::dunce:

Haha I know . I didn't say Im good ! Im getting better with the racing though. Its easier then drifting lol. Im still way faster and better with DS3, but Im getting used to it.

On the wheel I love how you can smoke your front tires by turning too hard it looks like im drifting with my zonda around indy lol

The most discusting thing is to see a car understeering and calling it "drifting"

Not the best drifting but shows some wheel work. When you initiate you let the weight transfer spin the wheel, then you catch it at your desired angle and make the adjustments to keep it there. Just takes lots of practice.

Once you can realize what you did wrong to stop/lose the drift, then you can really start to get better by correcting it. :)👍

BAD LINK ^^

That's a G25... using a DFGT is completely different
The DFGT has very weak force feedback that is not strong enough to bring the wheel to a countersteer from 0 truning angle ( Not gonna even say how it is on flips...)
So to be able to catch the drift well you need the give it a little push to start the countersteer ,and that has to come @ the right time & with the right force ...
That G25 turns by itself and you just catch it ;)

I'm gonna shoot a new video as soon as i can to post it for you guys and show you how much work a DFGT really requires ;)

My zonda doesn't understeer lol to get the tires to start burning I have to go to the outside edge of Indy and wail on it to the left and it still goes in grass if I try to keep the front wheels burning

You are correct, i used to have the original Driving force Pro that came out with GT4, the G25 is a lot smoother and will do most of the spinning/returning on it's own.

Really? I get front tyre smoke all the time because of good angle. Definatly not understeer lol. But then again that might be because I use a DS3 and have -4 camber on the front haha.

Did you read the post that i replied to ? your reply is irrelevant ;) READ again ;)

no i'm not, THat understeer thing pisses me of ...
I hate to see those noob "drifting" pictures of a car doing a hard steer in the corner and all its four wheel are smoking which is exactly what Volc was talking about

Driftezz i know what you're talking about , that happens with me all the time while countersteering and having insane angle the front tyres smoke because there isnt enough steering angle to support the angle and this is a totlay different thing ;)

You know how stupid that sounds?

"I get front tire smoke all the time because of good angle"

No, Its actually because your throwing your car into the corner hoping for the best while trying to go fast hence why theres friction between the tires. Not because your the "drift king" If anything it means you don't know how to drive.

Camber has nothing to do with it.

That didnt really make sence either. Of course im going to throw my car into the corner, but I dont hope for the best, I can usually do 4 wheel drift entries and pull out of it in a few powerful cars I have found that work well. And I dont think i'm the drift king I just assumed that most of us here would get front tyre smoke from time to time with good angle and that I liked the way it looks when I get it. So yeah, when I push my car beyond its limits doing reverse entries, I cant drive apparently.
And KingB do you see where i'm coming from, I thought you where talking about 4 wheel drifts lol. 👍

Oh right I get it now. He gets smoke because he steers too much into the the corner, not because he counter steers too much out of the corner with good angle.:dunce:

Its a video game now!

Most times the reason for front tire smoke is due to you entering to fast, Hence why I said "throwing your car into a corner and hoping for the best" and if you use a DS3 that proves my point even more...

I also had this front tyre smoke sometimes when i did backwards with DS3 lol, it just happens to everyone sometimes. The one like it and the other doesn't. I dont like it but I can live with it lol

And this wheel is killing me lol. I can drift some corners on mini ring but i cant get my car straight back on the road after the drift. I noticed i have to shift down after the drift to keep better control lol, so I'll try later. It takes so long lol. Im getting krazzzyyyy. Im pretty sure i can NEVER be as good as i was with DS3 lol.

Hence why I said I dont hope for the best, I actually pull the drift off if you read it properly. I'm not getting into an argument 👍

Well this has been a funny read, all the excuses of why front tyres are smoking. Ever think that maybe your countersteer was off which led to your front tyres dragging rather than rolling?

Of course you did.

Even in real life drifting front tires do smoke sometimes, but mostly when they brake while sideways or if the tire is rubbing the fender (you can spot it on the famous Koguchi video around Nikko circuit)

Ohh It seems that you People are too bored ! lol
I started something that I should'nt :P
This is going nowhere people, DrifterzZZ got what i was saying so This is the END OF DISCUSSION :P
