Its not about having enough time. I'm in a hardcore custody battle and want to make sure I spend enough time with him before it may be taken away from me. I have offered people to take over and was willing to pay out the prizes but even though I had people interested. They would never follow through. So since they didn't and no one replied in the thread I locked it.

Its hard to find people that are committed when you organize such things.
The D1SL thing that Seigo tried to launch haven't worked for the same reason, we had atleast 16 people interested that registered for the comp yet no-one showed up the day of the 1st round (except me and maybe 2 others), same thing happened when it was reported to the week after.
I've been facing that several times in the LFS community before for competitions or magazine projects, 15 people are willing to help but when you need it theres nobody...

I had over 32 people registered for the VDC. But no one took it seriously, people would show up and be late. No one would would practice the line i needed done (they did their own and thought it was perfect, then judged not, so they got angry when i said it wasnt good) Just one big mess. But back on topic
Oh one last thing. Just want everyone to be clear on this, I will open the VDC back up when the time is right and we want people to do it. I am willing to give away my money. I just need someone who is going to take over and be serious about running it. (Someone dependable)

What!? Alot of us took it seriously, especially my team. We pretty much practiced every day in your room and made sure we had our lines right. Not only that, we practiced tandem with all the regulars in your room to make sure we had an idea who we were going up against. YOU even watched our runs to make sure we were doing them right. And as for the judging part, you changed that up last second..

Which is why i didnt state names. I know you guys did. Nemesis members are always in my rooms... I love drifting with you guys. 👍 Judging was changed at last minute but did not take away the lines. Thoughs stayed the same but since it was just me judging the runs were going to be averaged. I didnt think this was two and made it more fair. I hardly ever see someone do a perfect run besides in the finals.

Since this is posted @ my team's thread , I think the "most of them came late " is addressed to me LoL
I did come late on the qual session because of an unexpected thing that came up that day ... Not because I didnt take it seriously but I was one of the 1st arriving during the battling day (sunday)
I Really wish that I could help running the VDC but I just cant for meany reasons even though I really want to ...
Too bad theres no one who can and willing to ... I Signed up for the D-Max tournament but I pessimistic about it since from the start no one is reading the rules and the processes right in that OP (registration process mainly) so how about the rules and lines and etc later on ??? :S
AND btw spank you're welcomed here anytime

It wasnt just you who was late. But its over with so dont care anymore It really sucks how it was one of the fastest growing thread in the drifting sup forum and now its shut down. (even though i can undo it whenever i want) But one of these days i am going to think of something to run and it will be flawless (i hope) 👍

us gold rush drifters could run the vdc in future for the Europe competitors but it pointless having two drift comps on at the same time.

I always have more rear camber at cape ring north and eiger, it helps me with places with the hills. I did the big ring on cape ring with some cars like c63 and the chaser. and all with more rear camber, otherwise it sucks me in to the midle xD.
It works good for me but its a personal preference. 95 percent of my cars also have more front camber lol.

I hope they update some standards like the r32 and chaser. Basically all JDM lol. I'm pretty sure it will be free as well as its just what they would have put in the game if they had more time. Who knows when its coming though because all that was said was 'soon', that could mean christmas or even the rumoured 2012 project so hopes aren't too high.

I doubt we'll ever get a livery editor because it will compromise graphics too much.

Livery editor would be ok if it's better than the one in Forza an with no marketplace.
