Yes, you still need weight. But FF isn't too difficult.

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo (J) '98 is the fastest one, runs really good with the GTO '98, it's a bit heavier than the GTO but it has 20hp more but sadly it has to run the high turbo, it's slower on the mid.

I just found out myself that the Corvette ZR1 vs McLaren F1 '94 are a great close matchup. The ZR1 will get the tree but the McLaren will pull because of its light weight.

Depends on which McLaren F1 you're talking about, I know one will murder ZR1's by many car lenghts, there is another one that loses to the ZR1 right at the end, and the last one doesn't even stand a chance at all.
