Any serious battle is all BS because it always starts drama. Which I don't care for.


Friendly battles are alright, but can still cause tension between the two teams.

Everyone needs so badly to have their ego stroked about how fast they are that if anything shows them up there's an excuse as to why, and that's the worst part of drag racing. Can't people learn to run and not call someone a hacker if they pull a car, or exclaim to everyone that they have "horrible Internet" to explain why they are getting treed? It's getting old. Really old.

I remember back when everyone cried hacker in GT5 before the hybrids even came out. Can't count the times I got called one. Problem was, after a while everyone was running identical tunes and the races were 100% tree, so when they did come out it was pretty obvious.

The lack of speed test now means tuning means something and, when they updated the viewing specs on member list, made it much easier to spot the hackers. But I'm not for the over-competitiveness of team battles anymore. I much more prefer friendly competitions and casual racing with friends. Why deal with so much drama over drag racing when, at the end of the day, it's still just a video game.
