Wait...I'm talking about NALMS. Hermanos is what's up on the test server. Either way, I'm not a fan of the track and probably won't make it.

Anyone planning to practice for Sebring at some point? Also what's a good pace in GT2? I'm around 2:05-2:06 right now, sure that can drop a little.

I think I saw most people at 2:04s.
RaceDepartment just announced their Le Mans Series.
It's six rounds. Each is 8 hours or more using EnduRacers. I'm putting a CMS team together. Could use a couple extra drivers.
Group C practice is coming along nicely. We have three drivers in the top 6 for fastest lap times.

Re: Le Mans. I might be able to make a race or two, but I can't commit to all 6. Is that okay?

I qualied 5th with a 02.1xx and started all well till one of the front qualifiers started to drop back on the second lap, going into the chicane he protected the inside so I braked deep but the guy pulled the "as seen on tv" boneheaded move of crossing back to the outside line leaving me with nowhere to go but the tire barrier! I had to let the whole field go by and reel them back in, on lap 4 I rear ended a slower Porsche which ultimately led to him retiring from the race... I stopped and waited for him to get going again but he had too much damage and retired, at that point I retired too.

Yep sported the skin! Unfortunately I wrecked your pretty paint job a few laps in when I swerved on the final corner to avoid someone spun in the middle of the track (one of the fastest blind spots!) and went head-on into the pit wall. That was it for me. Shame, I wasn't doing so horrible. Mid-to-rear pack.

I think I might try the Ferrari in the WLMS next time there's a skin pack update. That way it keeps it interesting. Someone want to try their hand at a Ferrari F430 GTPlanet skin?

FYI I'm switching to LMPC in the WLMS. For now I'm staying in the porsche in the NALMS Thursday races, but might switch to the ferrari. The paint job is awesome and I can hopefully get someone to do a wicked cool GTPlanet paintjob for the new cars in the next paint pack, but I just kind of need a change.

I really appreciate the offer, GTPorsche, but I was actually thinking of keeping the current skin with different colors. Did you make the skin yourself, gatrs? I was thinking everything the same, just changing the white bits (including the hood logo) to a different color for the new cars. I thought of bright orange/black for the Ferrari, hot pink/black for the LMPC car. Or EMS green/black for the Ferrari and something else for the LMPC. Thoughts? Would it be a difficult transfer job for the swirlies?

Yeah, I'm not going to modify another user's work, but if gatrs did it himself and still has a layered version on file somewhere, it shouldn't be difficult for him to change the colors.
I typically keep a layered version of all my finished products in case something needs to be tweaked down the line.
