Missed it. Had waaay too much grad school work to finish up. And I'm missing a bit in November because of a wedding and writer's conference, as well as Thanksgiving time. Sucks, but such is life...

Mid Ohio on Sunday?

EDIT: And I'm running a WSC race at Sebring on Saturday. Gonna bring out a 914.

Nice!

Naw, the wedding is Sunday. And I'm supposed to play a song on the guitar and be in the wedding party, so I don't think "there's a sim race that day" is going to go over well with the groom :D

Then weekend of the 8th is the conference. So probably the next weekend I'll be able to make races, but I'll be spotty at best. Now that the PS3 is dead (at least for a while) I'm probably going to focus on rFactor races.

I'd like to get a Team GTPlanet 1-2 by the end of this season, so pick a race and we'll go for it!

Suzuka and Spa are real possibilities. Fuji also, but less likely.

I was thinking Suzuka too, let's do it!
I'll start working on a tune soon.
I probably won't be able to make Spa though. :grumpy:

I think when one is fast in GT5 he can drive also fast in FSR or?

The open wheelers handle very similarly on rFactor and GT5.

I'm not good with open wheelers. Well, no. I'm no good with downforce. Modern LMPs and open wheel cars in rubbish with. Stick me in a Lotus 49 or a Porsche 917 and I can be quick.

I'd pay your entry fee though, and I'd be there spotting for you every race possible.

Gran Turismo is very understeery compared to rFactor.
rFactor is difficult to learn, easy to master. Gran Turismo is easy to learn, difficult to master.

I love rFactor. So much better than any Gran Turismo.

But i think in iRacing the f1 league is better.
iWCGPS
That loooks awesome.

You must start with rooki races to drive there.
You have test the f1 car in iRacing?

I haven't tried the F1 car, but I've tried iRacing.
They both have their pros and cons.
I personally like rFactor better. With all the mods you can get, the ability to do driver swaps, etc. Not to mention you can get for less than $10 whereas iRacing will be a $150+ investment if you want to compete in any sort of league.
The iWCGPS probably does hold a bit more prestige over FSR though.

But all look always to iRacing when you win there then you have win all in pc racing or?
I know you must pay some $ but you win 10500$ when you win the Championship

iRacing is great, but it's gonna take you at least a year before you can compete at that level. But when you take into consideration that Greger Huttu took home a $10,500 check this year from iRacing for his championship it definitely will make you want to try!

TT13 and any others, I can/am running Suzuka on Sunday!
Have a pretty decent set up sorted, when are you practicing?

Sweet, I'll get my set up uploaded tonight.

Jav, make sure you have the latest skin pack installed, otherwise you'll get a mismatch on race day.
