How difficult is it to select pit stop options?

If your talking about the pit display LCD in the lower right, then I have it set up essentially the same way GT5's real time adjuster thing (I forget what they call it). I have one button cycle through the LCD displays, another button to switch directly to the pit display, another to request a pit stop, and the D-Pad to change options. So I don't need the keyboard for it, but I still have some keys used like the starter and ignition.

Good. Have you done much practice with it yet? How do your times compare?
 
I took the Vette out for a spin (sometimes literally) at Long Beach, as I am more comfortable there with it as far as first phase testing is concerned. I'll test out at Road Atlanta when I get the chance.

Do you have a mic? That thought just passed through my head.
It's possible for us to do it without the mic. But much easier if you do have one.
 
Disregard the above statement. Unfortunately the race has been cancelled. HOWEVER, if anybody like the GT3 mod, http://www.gpvwc.com/ is going to be running a league starting this November to be run on Saturdays. Races are one hour long each and take place in the afternoon (EST).
Anybody interested in that? The league is called Winter GT Series.

In other news, the Porsche GT3 Cup Series by EnduRacers will not be released to the public.

1) Yes
2) If you sign up on that website they'll explain SimSync to you in there somewhere. SimSync basically downloads it for you But, the GT3 mod is hosted on rfc I think. If not, a quick Google will find it relatively easily.
3) They had plans to make it a GTC class, but I guess decided not to. They're discussing it in the rFactor thread.
 
The same thing happened to an app I used to play on Facebook. Except it happened with Honda, Nissan, and DMC. So they de-badged all the cars to avoid any further complications and renamed all the Honda and Nissan models, as well as the Delorean. The app no longer exists though.

Thanks. I didn't want to admit it, but I got that spot because two GT2 drivers DNFed, but I did almost beat an amateur GT1 driver who was in a Lambo. Unfortunately I had too many accidents (none my fault), and spent at least 3 minutes in the pits for repairs. I fell a lap down to him, and that was that. I did jump a few other attrition-based spots on GT1 and P drivers, but was more psyched about the class spot.

With CMS sometimes it seems like being consistent rather than being fast gets you pretty far. Although being alien fast AND consistent will get you poles.

I might be interested in the GT3 mod, ESPECIALLY in a Ford GT :drool:

I believe it's the one by sandrox and gpfan but I'm not 100% sure. Sign ups for the league are unfortunately closed and it doesn't start until November. Will keep you guys updated when I get started!
 
You guys should come out this thursday to Oregon for the happy hour race! (sorry for the double-post, I just wanted you to get notified about the post.)

It's going to be frustrating in traffic because it's narrow and soft-shouldered and winding and a short straightaway...but maybe fun? I think staying out of trouble will equal a high spot here.

Yup. Lookin like I'm not going to make it today or tomorrow. Just found out I'm going to have to get up at 4:30 on Friday so no way I'm staying up for the entire race tomorrow and I've got other stuff I have to do tonight to get ready to wake up at 4:30 on Friday.
MAYBE will get on for the first bit of the race on Thursday if I can figure out a way to make it.

EDIT: Nevermind, turns out I'll probably just be relatively late. Will get on in about an hour and a half.
