Top tip: the mini is best for car chasey. We should have a go at car chasey one Friday night...

I was playing it my sister today. It's just "tag". One person is "it" they have to "tag" the other people to make the i.... why should I explain this? Everyone knows the game. The best play field is the TGTT.

I have played that before, its interesting when you get people in a fiat 500 👍

Small cars are definitely best. The little brick could easily out-manouver the S14

Does this team even drift anymore? You folk are hardly ever on and if you are its like one random member having a racing event.

Feel like I'm wasting my time being a part of it. I've moved on to more fun people.. not like you do anything apart from have 4 hour free run "drift" anyway. Seriously its a waste of time.

Hey, I'm kinda new to the whole team drifting concept here, not being on one myself, so please excuse the noob-ieness. I understand that only Australians can join the team, but is anyone able to drift in your rooms? In other words, could people from any country drift with you, even if they're not on the team?

I don't see why not...

@Heath. Suit yourself. We have been getting back into the habit ( trying to at least) of Friday night sessions, I do admit, we could be doing some more drifting occasionally and what not but we are only just getting back on our feet. Now that Hayden and I can now coexist in rooms together, we can start drifting together, as a whole team, more often and now that connection issues seem to be getting less and less as the game gets updated, we can drift for longer.

@Team. We do really need to be drifting alot more. I will open up my room tonight so those of us that are on can drift and we can become a team again.

Hey I'd love to get on but, final year off school is quite important and I'd take a good mark and going to university anyday of the week rather than playing a bit of GT5 and struggle my ass of in TAFE or repeating again.

You won't see me around for much longer either, month out from half yearlies. But I'll probably be on for the usual friday afternoon session.

I'm not fussed about people from other countries drifting with me, it's just that us aussies don't have the best upload and you guys teleport everywhere.

I can see where Heath is coming from. One main reason we haven't been making drift rooms is due to bad connection. Last Friday we had a sesh for a couple hours. Very funLucky for me internet is back up to speed. 380 kbs for download and 40 kbs for upload.

Also, chatting with a PSN friend called "VeteranVagVandal". He's not a team man (solo drifter) but he may join GTP and also have a crack tonight. Pretty good tandem man. He was following me last night and doing a good job

I'd love to get on GT5 and will try to, but I think I'll only be on for less than an hour between 10-11 if I am able to get on though.

I remember i had a great connection and i'm looking for bodykits to paint on forza so can you post pics

Haha sorry yello but less than handful of us play Forza.

Maybe try Forzaplanet? GTP's sister site for Forza.

Your decison is your's mate, but aren't all drift teams the same? I haven't seen a battle thread around here for ages...

If you want to do some championship racing with StiiiiFF's crew, Geti and myself just say so and i'll send you a link to the website. It's been going for a while and i'm suprised you aren't a part of it yet :)

@Everyone else... I, like Stav have alot of year 12 stuff going on which is why i've been a bit of a ghost lately. I should be right for Friday though...

I am in the same boat, but I just want to pass year 12 so Im not stressing myself out as much as I would if I were to aim for a decent ATAR to get into uni, thus I am on quite often (Free periods more than sufficient to knock over assignments and whatnot). As we get closer to final exams, I may also become ghost for a while.

I'm taking a similar aproach, but am trying to get the research project () done by the end of the first term so I can have another study line when I need them. This means i've been spending both my free and research project lines in the tech shop building my trebuchet, leaving homework for my usual PS3 time :nervous:

Trebuchet  We did that in year 9, bloody fun, also caused a few bloodied arms. Top Tip: When your mate decides he's going to dummy fire his, dont stick your arm out to catch it when there is a nice lovely sharp metal bit on the end 👎

Eh well, in a week of 24 periods, I get 8 free's so I have plenty of time, Plus I get Wednesday off (Until 5:30 anyway, thats when I do my TAFE course) So I have alot of free time during an average day, so its not bad. Leaves me to work after school to pay off this bike Im getting :sly:.

P.s, You reckon Stiiif would let me run an LMP for the race?

Sticking your arm in the way is definitely not the smartest thing to do with a live weapon....

I think my trebuchet may be a little more dangerous then your year 9 ones though :sly: I'll put some vids up of it in action once i'm done.

An LMP? Damn... I reckon i'll be running the Merc Evo II race car, which lands me pretty comfortable 1.52.xxx and with the slipstream and a real push maybe a mid 1.50.xxx. Will be interesting to see the diversity in sunday's grid though....

Yea, an LMP. I was struggling at being consistently quick, but with the LMP I can be quick all day long, and its nice on tyres.

Mr D I applaud you for getting the 800th post in the thread, and everyone else that contributed to get there

Man, I wish my final year importance was as similar as yours, striving to go for university and get a decent ATAR takes a damn long time

What are you hoping to study at Uni?
