That's pretty much what a friend of mine told me....he was bored with GT5, and was never really into it. Then he borrowed a wheel from another friend of his, and said it changed everything for him. Now he says he's completely addicted lol. I more than likely will wait until the end of the ski season, but I think a wheel and rig will be my spring/summer project
Btw, what does a wood grain wheel go for these days??
Edit: while we're on the topic of wheels, how much noise do they really make? Iirc, DFGTs tend to be the loudest? I know I can sometimes hear peoples's wheels spinning over the mic, but how loud are they in person....ie, can you hear them from another room, or through typical interior walls?? I mostly play at night while other people in my house are sleeping, so I can't make too much noise. And if I do end up getting one, it'll be a G27 or T500...go big or go home right
