Yo NEM family - check this out. We just got some love from the Fatlace Stayfresh Crew!

Studoogie is Reign over here on GTP. He is a real life friend of Ja (that Jeff lol) and is part of the Fatlace Family. He's also the one that we've been helping out with learning how to drift from a couple weeks ago.

That's very cool!

To add to this my cuz Jason some of you may remember him gave me a wheel to try drifting with. It's nothing crazy it's a logitec driving force. I'll give it a shot for kicks and giggles. If anyone has any suggestions to help me learn or if anyone has a tuned car set up for the wheel please send it over thanks.

much appreciated Reign for the love on your blog! thats crazy for just a humble team like ours to get some love from the people we look up towards. thanks to Ja also!

Hate to get off topic but Hey Work crazy times on Battlefield 3  You can classify me and Boso as the SPECIAL PEOPLE of GT5 You'll see me and him on the short bus

No worries guys! Its really nice to see our Team Name mentioned on his blog. Thanks Studoogie! Glad you were sick that week and was able to join us on a couple of sessions. Haha..

No problem guys! You are all a big help. I'm glad I was sick for a week too, now I'm hooked on drifting!

How do you guys do tight donuts around a cone? That was so nerve racking when we were at Top Gear Test Track practicing donuts. I hella choked, haha.

And I still can't slide that damn tunnel after the bridge at GVS. Always hit the left wall... even after JA said I should ebrake and downshift to 3rd from 5th.

I'll keep at it. Trying to master the S-Chassis first.

I wanna try one of my S15's. Anyone have the settings off the top of their head? (I trust your team's tuning)

See you guys online! I'll try to make it Thursday.

Hey guys my name is Tiger aka Gio and I have a rally team called All Terain Tigers so far we've been a team for about 2 months and we have 5 members so far. But I'm not here to tell my whole life story I'm just here to ask how did you guys keep it going. I've been a fan of Team Nemesis for a long time and seeing how you guys can recruit people and keep it so organized is just amazing and was wondering if you could share any tips to keeping a team organized and for recruiting people.

Hey guys, just wanted to check in and say hi :) sorry I've been MIA for the last few days, but we've been getting dumped on (snow!!...perverts), so I've been up to my knees in fresh pow for the last few days. Weather report says its supposed to keep goin all week, so I'm not sure when exactly ill be back online. I'll try to hop on at least once this week, and I'll try to make NS.

Hope everyone is well, hope to see y'all soon

Edit: forgot to mention this....Stu, just saw your post about wanting to try out an S15. If you haven't already, talk to either Gambino or Marcus. Both of them have lots of seat time in S15s and have really good tunes for them.

Whats good Gio! Thanks for chiming into our thread and we appreciate that you are a fan of the team.

So you ask.... "How do we keep going?"

To be honest w/ you, we are just a bunch of guys who are constantly pushing each other to be better than we were yesterday. From tuning to driving and everything in between, we communicate on a level where everyone has a voice. Our team is exactly that - a team. As one of the team leaders, we make sure to listen to everyone's opinion and weigh each of the pros/cons for the sake of teamNEMESIS. This team is more of a brotherhood (as cliche as it may sound), but that is only because it feels that way. I dont look at these guys as "teammates" now but look to them as friends (even if we haven't all met in person... YET). I guess our personalities seem to mesh well with each other and we just know how to enjoy our time on GT5.

Team unison.

It is a very vital key to the success of any team and thankfully we have a leader like ours that makes the right decisions for us to continue forward.

Also, to be on this team, a sense of humor is REQUIRED. ;)

@E....what's this talk of a board???? I'm a 2-planker for life bro!!!

@AllTerrainTiger, here's a few more points that can aid in keeping a team together
- always remember that it's just a game, and this is all just for fun. As soon as people stop having fun, drama starts, and things go down hill. Also tied into this thought is that real life always comes first. As a leader, always be considerate and understanding of team members' real life commitments.

- avoid drama!!! There will always be people who talk down on you or your team, but just ignore the haters. In reality, they're probably just jelly lol. Use private messages to your advantage! Make sure team members aren't airing out their dirty laundry in public forums or lobbies, as this almost always leads to trouble.

I might recommend a better balanced car for you Reign.. The FC is, in my opinion, the best "starter" car to learn drifting. It is so well balanced with power and handling! You can't go wrong with the FC. The S13 is the second best "starter" car in my opinion.

The S15 is fun but can be challenging due to its increased wheel spin for cars in its class.

I've been a fan of Team Nemesis for a long time and seeing how you guys can recruit people and keep it so organized is just amazing and was wondering if you could share any tips to keeping a team organized and for recruiting people.

Thank you for the comments Gio. Even though we are the oldest active drift team on GTPlanet and it has taken us time to get to where we are, we still consider ourselves a 'young' team. There may be other teams who have been around longer in other games but that doesn't mean anything to us, because this is Gran Turismo. 👍

In addition to what the other guys in the team have said. I'll share some information about us that might be helpful to you and any other new teams.

Do not just add everyone who asks to join your team. It's okay to be picky about who joins your team. Remember that a team is a reflection of its leadership (aka YOU). Your reputation out in the field is represented by your members. So if you recruit people who don't support the team (or you) and like to cause "problems," you will get a bad reputation. This also applies to the leaders! Your team leaders are supposed to set the bar for how other members are going to act. This does not mean that you have to control everything, it just means that you have to be sure your members are representing your standards.

Furthermore, set some standards/expectations for your team and expect your members to follow the standards/rules. I had my own personal standards/expectations when I founded NEMESIS and each new member was advised of our standards/expectations of each other (these applied to me as well). These are nothing more than common sense ideals that come along with maturity. You also have to stand up for your team standards and if that involves kicking people out - so be it.

I started this team with this mindset, it is a privilege and honor to be part of team NEMESIS. The guys on this team all feel the same way that I do. We did NOT invite just anyone to this team. Everyone who is part of this team EARNED their invitation (and that is not easy). They earned their invitation by being 'real' and blending well with the existing team's chemistry. If the chemistry is not there, I don't care how good the person is at drifting, they will NOT be part of NEMESIS. We can train the drifting skill easily but we can't train chemistry or personality.

Hope this, along with what the other guys said, helps you! We will always offer help to those that ask for it. Feel free to contact me through GTP private message or through PSN. I may not reply right away - but I WILL reply. :sly:

Thanks man ill take everything you said into consideration to make my team better. And like I said before I've seen you guys grow from the start and seeing how you guys expanded and got better and better is amazing.

I'd like to say "thank you" for not booting me off the track for spinning out too much and slow drifting! And big ups JA for getting me to slide with y'all

After what Gambino said, I might hold off on the S15. Maybe in a few months, haha!

Word! I'll post more GT5 Dori stuff on my blog. I wanna spread the word. You guys are chill, that's how drifting should be. I'll take you up on your offer of hopping in your lobbies. It gets me more motivated to see pros in action. As for the S15, I'll probably hold off till I master the 13. I don't wanna make things more difficult while I'm still getting the swing I things.

cool thanks for the tips! I'll stick with the S13 for now... and try an FC next
