So, just wanted to let everyone know that I have just discovered something wonderful 
I've been following this whole "modded cars" craze pretty closely. Aside from seeing screen shots of the Garage Editor App that is hopefully going to be release sometime in the near future (it looks awesome btw), I learned how to do the "perma borrow" glitch. I didn't even know this was out there, but it's a way that you can send ANY car from one account to another. This includes cars over 1 million CR...and I think you can do as many in one day as you want (need to test that still)
That downside of this glitch is that it can take 5-6 hours to do, as you need to revert your GT5 version back to 1.05, and then back to 2.11, for each car that you copy. However, if you have 2 PS3s, which I am lucky enough to have right now
, this whole process takes about 5 minutes per car copied. So, that said, I should be able to get my hands on a whackload of modded cars over the next few days. I'm going to try to collect as many as I can, but my immediate interest is on the more realistic ones (eg 800hp NSX), and then the RWD ones (ZR1, M5, Viper etc). I will also definitely try to get my hands on an X1 and FGT to put on share, so everyone can at least get a taste (I hear the FGT is great for grinding)
Once I start getting cars (hopefully tomorrow after work), I'll keep an updated list of what I have, and will start trying to get as many of these cars out to you guys as I can. I have two accounts as well, so some of you may need to add my alt so you can receive cars from it (with the two ps3s, I can trade 2 cars per day)
To anyone reading this who isn't on NEMESIS, I will gladly try to accommodate you as best I can, but the team comes first. I think we here in the drifting community are a pretty tight group, so it won't take long to spread these cars around. If anyone out there happens to get their hands on some of the more rare modded cars (like the NSX...damn the French!!!), let me and I'll gladly copy it off you

Wow! This glitch sounds great twitch! Great find. The process may take a while, but i think it's worth it. I'm still waiting for that garage editor app though lol. I can't wait to add more hp on an ae86 lol. I hope that this garage editor app will not mess up the gt5 community ;furthermore, some people will have fun with it (like us lol) and some people will take it seriously.
Anyways, sadly, they didn't show any gran turismo 6 during the play station 4 announcement

And as far as these hybrids go, it will be very interesting to see how the online community handles things. I think it'll be positive overall. There will be winers and complainers...and if the game was brand new, they might have justification...but with how old GT5 is, I think the game needs this to breath new life into it. With the PS4 being announced, clearly we're in the twilight of both the ps3 and gt5.
I already have so many ideas swimming in my head of cars to build. Aside from the obvious "crank up the HP on an 86", I can't wait to start building true hybrids....S13 body on a R32 GTR chassis with a RWD conversion anyone?? Can't wait to convert some wagons to RWD as well

Ohhh maaan oh man! Imagine the Nissan Stagea being RWD. That would be awesome! And I agree, the garage editor will indeed give a "new life into it."

I heard on the live stream that we should be able to get most ps3 games on the ps4 digitally though.My wheel better work on the damn PS4 the T500RS is not cheap.
But the question is, will you be able to get your account and save data from the PS3 onto the PS4
....guess it wouldn't be too tough for you though eh CJ...iphone pic of settings sheet, start a new game on a new profile, buy Z34, input setup...DONE!
I really hope your wheel still works on the PS4...hell, I hope everyone's wheels still work on the PS4. I know I was talking about getting a wheel earlier this year, but now I'm floating the idea of waiting for the PS4 and then getting a wheel for it. Who knows though, I change my mind daily haha.

I'm sure Stoner's wheel will work on the PS4. I'm sure it will have at least 2 USB ports. However, the question is, is it going to be USB 2.0 or 3.0?

GT6 is planned for PS3, look on the GTP main page! This means the following things may happen :
1 PS4 comes with a big delay, like in 2015.
2 GT7 comes with a big delay, like in 2020.
It wouldn't even be a surprise, Sony and PD are good in delaying things.

I have no idea why it would have been acting up like that I should have pretty good internet, running fiber optic and everything.
edit: this was also done with a wirless connection with my laptop, my ps3 is hooked up with an Ethernet cable.

Might have been the servers. They have been acting up here lately. I run about double speed of what you have and still have issues within the last couple of weeks (since that maintenance to be exact).

Since the update a few weeks ago, my GT5 had gone to crap. Any time I am connected to the Internet, it runs slower as hell. The main menu loads in about 3 minutes, my "community" menu takes about 2-3 min to load, and it can take about 15-20 min to load all my contacts. My photo menu takes a good 5 min to load as well. And connecting to lobbies and lounges is a shot in the dark....sometimes it times out, other times I get a connection error 768. And half the time I actually get in a lobby, I lag like a mofo, and everyone is on hydros.
I know I have really crappy Internet right now, but I also think there is something up with the servers since the last update. I had issues before, but never this bad. With the way things are right now, the game is barely playable.
