Seems that way at least. From a standpoint of the topic. It seems that everyone outside the drifting community that has seen these cars has some kind of hate towards them mainly because they see unrealistic ones. But when I tell someone on a thread with that hate toward them about the replicas us drifters have made they see that not everyone makes unrealistic cars. Then they start to come around and realize that their judgement was clouded by the people with unrealistic ones.

Sorry for off topic. I just wanted to point out that I think the positive influence of hybrids is showing through us in the drifting community.
 
I don't think the bans should be a surprise to anyone. I'm surprised it has taken this long for them to respond. After all we are changing the game from what was intended. As Lock said, most of us don't participate in the trials (I haven't done a trial in over over a year).

I agree with Lock in that I support the people who are making realistic vehicle mods. However, my primary car will forever be my '07 M3 - hybrid free since 2010. :sly:

EDIT: If anyone in the GTP drift scene gets banned that has NOT done any seasonal event - please come tell us right away so that we are aware they are looking for us!
 
I agree with both of you guys. Let's not worry about this; furthermore, let's just continue enjoying GT5. GT5 life moves on :D

EDIT: I saw the top five drift trial replays a few days ago. All of them were using crazy amounts of camber (more than 10.0 lol) to drift super slow and gain more drift points. They are probably the ones who got banned. I didn't see the seasonal time trial replays though.

Damn, I used my RS6 in the "German Cars" drift trial....finished somewhere in the top 20,000. I hope I don't get banned for "cheating" :scared: :lol:

You shouldn't worry about being in top 20,000 because I don't think they would check 20,000 replays just to see which people are using a hybrid car lol. I'm guessing they look up top 50 or less. So don't worry about it :dopey:

Damn rice, she looks great. I was lookin at that Nismo yesterday, thinking " I bet this would look dope in white" :lol:
 
needless to say.. i was pretty stoked to get this R32 from Rice earlier that i had to shoot some photos and share.

this car is super fun to drift. cant wait for the rest of the fam to jump in on the fun.

E, the pics are DAF. Loving the stance of those R32s. Thanks or sending the car Rice :cheers: I haven't had a chance to test it yet, as I've been crazy busy lately (gotta love spring :) ), and I've spent all my recent GT5 time working on my S13.

I finally feel like I made some big steps in the right direction last night after spending the last week "spinning my tires"....pun intended :lol:

I'll be on throughout the day on Sat. I'm planning on doing my taxes while wathing FD LBC (soo stoked!), but I'll also be jumping on GT5 for some shredding as well.

I have been. I just have no drift selections on his account and he hates modded cars. He only uses me for money because he knows i'll win. -__-

No worries Twitch. We had another great turnout - like always!

We had a lot of laughs and I even got to kick a couple people as well! :sly: Had some great replays which should be helpful for this months Night Slide Chronicles episode.
