good man![]()
Also, I have some buddies from the grip racing series I run in, who might come to spectate.
good man![]()
Don't know if I ever posted this. But, good luck to you guys. Seems to be shaping up pretty well. Hopefully I'll catch some of you in a room sometime. 👍
wow, your very active melancholy!
your posts are going up as quick as a bullet
so, whens this battle?
I'm in ALL the series. Apparently, the battle is Saturday? I still haven't heard back from Rotary, I don't think.
yeah, well anyway, you gotta keep concentrated while drifting and making sure your line is perfect!![]()
I'll do my best. I don't have the same speed as everyone else, but I can hold clipping points well, inside or out, and ensure that the car's got angle the entire way around. I practice my transitions more than my lines, and my initiations more than my speed. I try to get a smooth drift, before worrying about speed. The lines just come naturally with good car control.![]()
yeah
you must be a pretty good drifter
Not for sure. I like to think so, but haven't yet proved it.
do you think we should have a team colour? like maybe aqua blue or something?..idk
I do enjoy having a variety of colours, though. We could do "themed-shots," in photo mode, where all 10 of us drive a black car, and tandem as well as possible...
Or, we could all sign up for a main "competition car" and take a photo of all 10 of them, together, at Top Gear Test Track, along the runway, with 1 guy in the first row (ROTARY) three in the second row (division leaders??) and six in the third row (the rest.)
Right now, I'm rocking "Molly" the black R32 GTS-t Type M from Initial D, named after Molly Quinn.
sounds good
I just joined a D1 Comp. lobby by OsakaHQ, and had some good fun afterwards. I watched the finals, and the guys in the finals seemed to have similar technique to me. I'm really feeling good about this challenge now.
After watching the finals, we ended up going to some new tracks and things. I am considering battling at an obscure track, so that it comes down more to talent than practice, because I haven't been practicing much, but I have a good feeling.
Anyways, I'm feeling good about the challenge. I'm slowly building up some reputation with some guys. Anyways, just telling you guys that I'll put up a fight this weekend, and perhaps (possibly/probably) win. I just haven't seen the competition.
send in some pics on the thread of the competition![]()
Well, it wasn't done during a race, meaning that you can't save the replay and can't grab photos. HOWEVER, for Saturday, I think we could arrange something.![]()
nice![]()
Just a quick question, though: if someone on the team, for example, steps out-of-bounds, proverbially, and has the same problems that some other drifting teams are having, what will be the course of action? Will you be willing and ready to forcefully remove anyone, who doesn't follow expectations, from the team?
I'm asking this, sincerely, just to know what our course of action for intra-team discipline is, between stern warnings etc., because I am looking for a decently mature experience here, and I don't want to have to put up with people who, for example, don't follow the GTP AUP. I know that you and ROTARY are the current leaders of this team, and I know most of the drivers on the team are good guys, but I just want to be sure.
I've spoken with most, drifted with some (ProShoots, at least) and generally seen a positive atmosphere, on this team, and I'm proud of it. But, just in case there's that oneperson who bugs everyone or such...
id say give them a warning, and if it continues then just remove them?
As with the challenge, what do you think my AE86 would be like?
Its not terribly quick, but i may need to steal you tune, im having an insane time trying to get it to step out nicely -____- Atm i can only do 2,3,4th gear drifting, and judging by a r33 with awd, im going to need top![]()
okay
Yeah i agree ^^^^^^^ mine will be toyota my AE86 or (mentioned in pm)
