Lolol minty getting mad ;)
Right guys, i've been doing alot of testing since yesterday on higher hp cars, noticed a few things that shoyld really help (my testing was done on a 387hp 240sx s14) first thing is when you're adding more hp make sure you stiffen your springs...not too much though otherwise you have no response from countersteer...
I started with a base tune of 8.00F 6.00R, now at 9.00F and 7.50R. Reason for that is to minimalize the body roll, body roll is the and suspension setup is the key to higher hp i think.

Next up is the damping, i believe this to be more preference than anything but stiffening the rear makes your initiations easier and you dont have to rely on the handbrake too much, stiffening the front made the car felt a bit more snappy but had alot more throttle response in mid drifts (useful for low hp drifts) but i felt i had to use the handbrake or power over more for this because the front seems to loose grip in flicking initiations.

The roll bars again i think is preference, doesnt make too much difference as long as its not to the extreme of either super soft or super stiff. Stiffening the front made the car feel easier to flick into drifts but the FFB felt like it lost strength and i spin out alot because i couldn't tell where the sweet spot was most of the time. Stiffening the rear made it seem alot more stable in mid drift, made the FFB feel nice and strong but also quite forgiving through drifts.

These are a few things i've noticed so far. I will say these are just my findings, everybody is bound to be slightly if not alot different as will their driving style. Just giving a few tips for anyone that wants it. End of rant :sly:

try setting your rolls bars to 4F 4R. i have my rear spring rate stiffer than yours. he dampers are probably whats making you not feel the car while it drifts so you may want to stiffen or loosen those

Well, I got an S14 and Soarer that I can drift pretty well now. I've noticed it's a lot less snappy, or wanting to spin the whole time if you don't fully lighten the car. I got stage 1 in the Soarer with 18F 10R springs, and about 480hp and it feels awesome.

Been rewatching some of the teams FM videos and i'm up for some D2D action on GT6. PSN: iSaisoku

Aha, i just wish i could hold a drift on GT6 half as decent as 5, getting there though :sly:

I've returned to my beautiful Supra once again. All i did was try to put my GT5 tune on GT6 and it some how works amazingly.

Sup guys, just seen this thread and it's good to see that XE is moving onto GT6, shoot me a Fr when you get the chance Aidan_S13 you'll probably remember me from Xbox as ZippyTieZ S13, will be good drifting with the old forza lot when you get GT6, I already drift with Baggins near enough every day just didn't realise that XE was starting up on GT :D

Unlucky Minty, I have just come across maybe the most beautiful car to drift as of yet, the GS300 Vertex Ed. Can't believe i'm actually about to say it but i should've listened to LiveFAST :ouch:

There is a huge patch for GT6 guys, hope it fixes the tyre sounds or atleast something, the anticipation is too much :scared:
