Murray, Nadal, Konta all in action on the first day tomorrow.

So both Murray and Nadal won in straight sets, very comfortable wins for both.

shock of the day is Nick Kyrgios, number 20 seed had to retire with a hip injury, he was two sets down to Frenchman Herbert any way

Konta won the first set in her first round match and is currently 2-1 up in the second, Halep won her first round match earlier, Brits Robson and Norrie were knocked out, Bedene is scrapping it out with Karlovic, currently 7-6 6-7 6-6 in that one!, Wawrinka lost the first set to Medvedev but leading in the second set, Heather Watson leading in her match, there were wins for Cilic and Nishikori earlier.

Sam Querrey has just knocked out Andy Murray in five sets in the quarter finals, 3-6 6-4 6-7 6-1 6-1.

Murray looked like he was really hampered by that Hip injury he was suffering from coming into the tournament.

Roger Federer won a record eighth Wimbledon Men's Championship whilst Garbine Muguruza won her first Wimbledon Ladies Championship.

I can’t fault you for the lack of a 2018 thread - not much love for aces on the court here - but I’m hoping you’re catching the action between Federer and Anderson right now on Court No 1.

Down to the wire as of this post - while Del Porto and Nadal are whacking 100 mph balls at each on Centre Court.

Didn't set up a thread for this year because your the only person other than me to post on last years thread!

Saw the end of that match, superb match, Anderson knocks Federer out in the quarter final after a five-set thriller with the final set finishing 13-11, four hours and fourteen minutes!

It was a killer match!
Truly - I had freaking goosebumps towards the end.

And now Del Potro and Rafa are serving up large doses of the same.
I’m going to get into trouble trying to keep up with this action while keeping to my regular schedule of dollar-hunt slavery.

Ok So this is an old thread... And nobody here created the 2019 edition ???

Am not going to since it is now over... But you guys here missed the longest match (final) ever....

Djokovic vs Federrer!

These two went at it like crazy... So good.
Either one deserved to win... But I was rooted for the Serb.
