Easy solution, don't use chase cam. I can't remember the last game I played in chase cam. Definitely in the 1990's.The two chase cameras are really bad in this game.

Alpine A110 is definitely the trickiest of the starter cars. Once you reach level 20, you'll be able to better tune it to match your driving style. That said, you should already have plenty coin with which to purchase another starter car to see if it feels better.I have been trying out Test Drive Solar Crown as its free play this weekend on GamePass.
Got up to level 12 and unlocked the clans and went for the hip Streets 😎
Now made it to level 15 and unlocked the different car settings (off road etc). Tried the "Sport" mode and that just made the handling much WORSE in my Alpine A110!
Playing on Series S, graphics are similar level to Forza Horizon 3.
Car sounds are ace in my starting Alpine A110 and Abarth 500👌
Handling very twitchy even in "Normal" driving mode, needs settings dialed in further I think. I've moved the steering from default sensitivity of -2 to 0 as the car understeers too much otherwise.
Had a very brief trip to Ibiza, but only race I could do which was irritating.
Lots and lots to do in this game, so far. Must admit I'm enjoying it - if I can find the right driving setting, I'll probably buy it 👍
If they had a roof cam i would! The hood is not enough for me.Easy solution, don't use chase cam. I can't remember the last game I played in chase cam. Definitely in the 1990's.
I was going to say the new Solar Pass is free, but checking the trailer again, it only says "offered to all players". I doubt it would be worth any money, unless the clothes and stickers available are really amazing. The main reward is just one or two cars you can buy in the dealership later, right?I noticed that the base game is 50% off now on the Xbox store. I'm just waiting to see how the new solar pass is set up (have they given a price yet?) next week, before I look to buy the game.
Having said that I've just bought TC Motorfest, so may not have time for TDUSC anyway...
Found this thread on reddit which confirms season 3 solar pass is free, but there will be a paid solar pass for season 4 onwards:I was going to say the new Solar Pass is free, but checking the trailer again, it only says "offered to all players". See point 2) in the patch notes below.I just recently purchased the Gold Edition.
So, what would happen if I wait for the new season to begin and then log into the game? Do I then get the VIP Solar Pass for the next season, or did I just shoot myself in the foot because the tier skips and VIP apply for the current season that's about to end?
See point 2) in the patch notes below.
The solar pass for season 3 is free to everyone, as was season 2. Your VIP pass will be available for season 4 onwards, so you're not going to lose it.
There was a notification to "redeem" your pass in season 2, however if you DID redeem it, this just used up your free pass, so your VIP pass will still be waiting for season 4.
Again, if you redeem the pass for season 3, this will only redeem the free pass and not the VIP one.
Maintenance has started (for the next EIGHT hours!) and the update is available for download.
The update is 29.29gb on Series S.
Latest post suggests they are targeting optimisation for season 5. Season 4 will be the casino as originally planned.
Patch notes are here...:
Very simple, don't buy it.I am so tempted to buy it. what do i do??
I did it yesterday and playing it on ps5 pro nD i am quite surprised. Probably the best map desigb ever made on a open world racing game. WowVery simple, don't buy it.
I would agree it's an excellent map, finding all the little tracks in the hills and the alleyways in the city has been lots of fun.I did it yesterday and playing it on ps5 pro nD i am quite surprised. Probably the best map desigb ever made on a open world racing game. Wow
Adjusting the shocks can help minimize that nasty flip over curbs, etc. That said, on the truck I am still successfully using the stock setup on and off road.Currently having a lot of fun with TDU:SC even if sometimes the physics are a bit wonky e.g. my pickup is at max height along with relatively soft suspension (I tried to lower all spring rates and damping to 90% when it can go down to 80%) and when I drive on smooth dirt roads I often bottom out.
This or hitting a sidewalk while going downhills while leaving the smooth dirt road = Either a flip or a misty flip.
I unlocked Sports muffler and it sounds pretty darn awesome. Looking forward to unlock the last two ones with it.As an update, I'm now at level 33 with 67% of HKI roads travelled. Still enjoying the map. And nabbing all those rewards along the way.
Currently saving the pennies to buy the Aventador SVJ when I get to level 40.
Almost level 7 on the Solar Pass, need to make sure of level 15 for the Delorean.
This week's "live event" is with Mustangs, so I'm taking part for once and will get my sticker 👍 . The 1967 Mustang sounds great when driven.
At level 30, you are eligible for the Navigation races. The one in about the lower middle section on Ibiza next to some dirt roads takes less than a minute and offers a great return in coin, xp, solar crown levels and clan levels. Repeating it can result in VERY fast leveling. As an update, I'm now at level 33 with 67% of HKI roads travelled. Still enjoying the map. And nabbing all those rewards along the way.

Thanks, I'm aware of it. However, I don't grind in any game so endlessly repeating the sane race isn't for me. It means it takes me a lot longer to "complete" modern driving games, because they almost all try to force you to grind (GT7, The Crew, TDUSC, even FM23 takes you 90 minutes to win enough credits to buy one car [outside of the FOMO crap]) to stretch out their game, but I get a lot more enjoyment out of games that way.At level 30, you are eligible for the Navigation races. I totally get where you are coming from. And, I fully respect that. Just know that as you level, you not only get more performance part options, but you also open up considerably more races. And, the real joy in TDUSC are the longer [Crown] races. When you get to the Ruby Crown, you'll have a 35 min - 40 min race around HK which is absolutely wonderful. In contrast, there are also some great offroad races but they are closer to 12-22 min in length. Those races are where I spend a disproportionate portion of my time. Hence, I very much look forward to your feedback when you do get to them. As for discovering roads... ugh. Too boring for me... especially on Ibiza. Now, just going for a drive on the other hand. Anyway, I've still got 30%+ of the roads to find on HKI which is keeping me occupied...
Your post is why I feel this game is way underrated in some respects. Especially since the navigation and delivery missions were added.
