no, i'm not the schumacher you're talking about but i'm better.....i heard about you on midfield with the 787B going for the 55's and i'm working on my setup right now to smoke you......where the Denso at Deep Forest did not involve tuning, I could not put all of my skills to work so you beat me by 5 tenths which is quite a significant amount of time in my books.......i give credit to you if you really got that time b/c theoretically it is possible.....i simply could not put together a better lap than i did .....congrats to you bud but you'll probably have to persist a little more on midfield with the 787BOriginally posted by mr persistance

in real life i left foot brake when driving automatic but with a standard i don't bother seeing as i'm not in a rally........in GT3 i sometimes find myself doing what you described b/c you can get on the brake or throttle faster but i find this practice just gives me a sore thumb fasterOriginally posted by 23Kev
From the sounds of it I haven't been playing anywhere near as long as some of you guys but I just did Deep Forest in the Denso Supra and got a 1:08.983. Not great and I can defintely improve but am slowly getting there!!That was also only after 5 laps....I know I can get faster. Just a question also, do you guys "left foot brake"?? Not sure if you know what I mean, but with the Dual Shock 2 you can press the accelerator down with the ball of your thumb and press the brake with the tip of your thumb.....I have noticed on some tracks that you do get a slight advantage. I do it a fair bit in my real car (especially as it's turbocharged...keeps the boost up) and used to do it when I raced my kart. Anybody else use it/do it??
