It won't happen ever. Just like we won't ever adopt Puerto Rico as a state. I personally wouldn't mind losing texas, no more Dallas Cowboys!

1) This would never happen. Why? Because the amount of Oil and other resources from this area. It has huge land mass and the Gov't won't even consider it. I don't see why people make a big deal of this it will never happen. It's nonsense.

And my view on Puerto Rico is it will become a state within the next 20 years. As within the last 5 it has made a great push on gaining statehood.
