I drove for about eighty miles and earned splits of 29.861 - 52.140. The first sector was essentially perfect, but I braked too early for the hairpin, turned in too late for the turn before T2, and, as I have on every fast lap so far on this track, took the final sector all wrong and lost about a quarter of a second. 🤬 The Corvette seems fast here, but when the M5 brigade posts splits of 28.xxx - 50.xxx, I'll have to rethink that position. I've never been very good here, so even if the car matches the track well, I still might be slow.

God you work fast man. I'll develop splits tonight and post tomorrow.

Cheers,
Corey

I love this track!

Ditto.
Though it may be another short week for me.
Snowboarding at the weekend rocked even if the snow coverage is sparse, so I've fully caught the bug again, and am trying to arrange to go back again this coming weekend too! :mischievous:

Will do what I can with the MFT Spirra here, but judging by the performance of the RVV M5 being almost a full second quicker at the last venue here it looks like this'll be a 1-horse race, though fighting for the 3rd place scraps is more what I'm used to everywhere else and with Greycap, Jetboy, Austin343, mcsqueegy & probably mafia_boy in that hunt, it sure is fun!
I'm sort of tempted for the team's sake to explore the RX-7 as Greycap has mentioned that it's faster, but the Spirra has that great combination of being so frustrating to get right, but so satisfying when you do, so I'm more than likely going to stick with it!!! Plus I said I was wanting an MR ride and this is undoubtedly characteristic of an MR in extreme handling!!!

Don't worry mafs, Austin's car has a big power advantage :(

Re-edit:

T1: 30.430
T2: 52.683

Finally managed the 52.6 T2 I'd hoped for, but I lost a little time doing so :indiff:

 Don't feel bad. Now in the following, keep in mind that this is after 2(!) laps and it's not even clean. I'm not even sure why I'm posting, it's that 🤬.

T1: 31.384
T2: 54.394

Cheers,
Corey

From my first lap
T1: 32.868
T2: 1:21.464
My baby vomited on me between the first and second sectors. But I figure without the infant-puke I could still make top 15.

Doubt I'll get time to post a proper score so til then I won't insult any garage owner/s by attaching my name to them.

EDIT: My ghost tells me that was more of a 33.x, and far from clean. God, I loathe this course.

I've had faster T-times, but not faster laps.. As soon as I nail a good lap together, I think I might be in the middle of the group.. again.

Nice. A lot of splits to aim for. 👍 Still haven't give this one a try, will do it right now.

Made a few laps with the Corvette:

T1 - 31.894
T2 - 56.563

Far from perfect, and I noticed the car seems like it's getting worn out, but the game won't let me do a refresh yet. Tomorrow I might just build a new one and see if that helps.

Haven'T had the chance to do a full nights work at the wheel.but I did get the thought of going back to the pad. I could have hit my self for thinking that. even if my times never ad up.and when you are on pro you now you have your work cut out for you.Jost a thought.

I dislike this track..... not very good for the cars, I built! Trying to peck a better times, and spilts!

Adam, you have to wait for about 400 miles until you can refresh it! How this helps you!

I thought it was 325-350 miles, which is almost where I'm at.

I'm going to build a brand new one tonight though.

EDIT: With 329 miles on the clock, it let me do a refresh. Car feels alot better, but still may build a new one.

Like to get into the low 53's and lop a full second off the lap.. My car is acting like crap also. Wish GT gave you an indicator your chassis is shot. :grumpy:

Cheers,
Corey

I also noticed quite a sharp deterioration before I was able to refresh the chassis at about 310 miles (I haven't rerun since then). It seemed less than optimal when I set my fastest lap, and when I revisited the combo this evening, there was a noticeable difference in feel and I was very slow. We may all have to rebuild our cars by the end because, at this rate, by the sixth race, we will have driven enough miles to have not only a permanently deformed chassis but also some unrecoverable power loss.

New splits....I'm driving cause I'm pissed off about something else that happened tonight and I'm taking it out on the RX7.

T1: 30.974
T2: 53.494

My T1 can go lower which will improve T2 & overall, just have to time things a bit better. 👍

I honestly will buy a new M5. Mine has around 1500km already if I'm correct, and I can see the difference. I just can't do a damn lap with the car as it is.

A question I have to ask you guys that have high milage cars is why don't you guys just reset and rebuild everytime the mileage starts to go up?? I mean, we all have our settings set in stone, so why not start with a 0.0mile/km car....build it up and set it up how you want (via the garage tuning scree, hit start when you're at your garage), do your runs and after 100-200 miles, when it's all said and done, hit the reset button and bring the car back to 0.0miles/km?

It might take 1 minute more each time to go back and select the circuit each time, but it's cheaper than having to spend extra cash for doubles of each car, especially if you've already saved your ghost lap, just reload the ghost each time (which is all of 10 seconds) and away you go again. :)

Naughty monkey, that's what he is. I will probably build a new car but not yet.. Not before I can feel that the chassis is gone as well as the peak power. There's still some left in it.. :mischievous:
