I'm going to be posting times here shortly, and no. I didn't adjust those. Your first run is still the only.

Has event 2 not been setup? Just tried to have a go and it was letting me choose any car I wanted
Nope. Its active, seems I forgot to set up the car choice. I believe I assumed it was persistent and it wasn't. The intent is 70's era cars though, if you would be so kind.

Anyone play since the Flying Finn update? Handling has changed a bunch. In a positive light I think

Yep I've been playing, overall the v2 cars seem better but on tarmac they seem to float around too much like the old dirt games. FFB also needs tweaking, can't feel anything on tarmac now. I've just been thrashing the new cars on Finland trying to learn the new stages :)

Ive only done Greece, so all gravel so far. Feels good on gravel. The escort feels better, especially in hair pin and acute turns. If you lock up the fronts, it feels like it is sliding like it should.

And I am off to my typical stellar start. A flat with a roll in the first stage. I am not feeling the top of the list today.

 I just did the exact same thing, probably on the same corner too. I crashed on every stage except the last one.

I crashed so hard the game crashed in the second stage! I'll see where it leaves me tomorrow.

Count me in! I've sent a request to join the league on the dirtgame site.

Flying Finland update is quality! Cars feel so much nicer and Finland is a rush of adrenaline everytime I drive it!

Oh man I had a rough time this week. Accidental jump start (forgot to hold the clutch in) and a big roll in stage 1, huge crash with a puncture in stage 2, massive downhill roll in stage 3, and a not that great stage 4 (but without a big crash or penalties, finally...)

I like the new physics though, I just need to re-learn to be more careful now. The car is more slippery than before and you seem to need to use the brakes more. Or maybe going back to GT6 messed me up haha.

Etid, you have been added to the roster. Welcome to the league!

Brilliant, can't wait to set some times.

I don't know if anyone else gets this but I'm constantly getting punctures on the Finland stages, just from landing big jumps! At one point both of my rear tyres burst throughout one of the longer stages, and finishing the stage was painful. :ouch:

You have to slow down before the big jumps 👍

I will never slow down before the big jumps. The big jumps will never beat me. :odd:

On another note. I completed the stages for this weeks event. It was strange because it didn't put me in a select class, instead I had to manually look at what everyone else was driving and then pick a car. I noticed everyone was in 1970's so I picked the Escort, finished the stages and for some reason I don't think it has saved my time. As if I've never done any of the stages. It also won't let me do the league again as if I've already completed the league. Very strange.

EDIT: Just checked the racenet league and apparently I haven't completed the final stage which was Bidno Moorland (Reverse), which I definitely completed and it won't let me continue the event as if I've completed it. :( Oh well. Bring on next week! :D

So, something has happened to my Wales stages, particularly the second one. I finish the stage, then when the camera switches for the slow mo finish, the game locks up then crashes. I do not believe I had the issues in the regular championship mode, where I did the wales rally just before doing the league event, so I am hoping it is just a fluke bug. As it stands though, I am a DNF for the second event.
Edit: Just noticed your edit ETID. Strange we both hit on a bug... Probably should log them and send them to Codemaster.

Just completed the event, didn't have either of the issues you guys did.

Can't believe I'm currently fastest though, I ended up backwards once each stage. Went well otherwise on the first stage (As I did last event, I sense a pattern here) but was generally sloppy for the others. If someone manages to get 4 clean stages they could be miles ahead. I like these stages much better than the previous ones.

I think I may have 'overworked' the car. 🤬 Well, lesson learnt for the next event: Better be 10s slower, than crashing your car multiple times and barely managing to finish the second stage.

I was having the same problem!

It is crazy how fast it all can go bad. A couple of bad off's can mess with the head too.
Season is aboutndone though, then we will be starting a full length, one month season. Would you guys prefer a new location for each of the weekly events or one location for the whole season? I was thinking one location for the first two weeks, and a second for the next two.
Also, for this event we are going to bump up to 80s. For the next season, would you all prefer to continue up that ladder and move to rwd group b or stay at 70s and 80s cars for a while?

Ok, leaderboard has been updated with current info. There is an hour and a half left to complete the current event. When the event wraps up I'll update the standings and announce the winner.

Dam my game crashed after i fished the 3rd stage i was 1.564 seconds quicker than 2nd place. So when i did it again i ended up being 10 sec slower due to a mistake. dam you dirt rally!

What cars we using ?
One of the two offerings from the 80's The Ford is a bit of a pig if I may say so, Not sure if the BMW feels the same way or not, or, well, maybe its because I am not used to a heavier car without ABS with the new physics.

The game just retired me for trying to finish with an almost completely broken car. I might be wrong, but I doubt those jumps can damage tires like this in real life ...

Tiz had made mention of needing to slow down a touch for the jumps. What car did you use?
