Who said drifting was out of the game?! Calm down man, it still is, along with drag racing.
Yes, i believe that drifting and the drag modes will most likely be under the Extreme area, since they are not listed separately. Plus, like online mode, it was not confirmed out of the game.

Just realised there is no "Dutch car Town". They can't do this to me, no "Spyker" or "Donkervoort" :(

I'm in the same boat as you, I've been waiting for the Spyker c8 to appear in some screenshots since Gran Turismo Concept but it hasn't been my way.

Swiss Alps = Grindelwald? :D
Nope, Swiss Alps is the rally track from GT3 and GTC.

Damn, can anyone read that little writing? :sly:

Oh man. Aussie Town. Hopefully they've decided to ditch Seton's hunk of junk and instead have voted to go with The Green Eyed Monster. Craig Lowndeses 00 Motorsport Falcon. Even better. I hope they've added Holden to the mix too. If there is a Holden, then I know which one it'll be.

Japanese Car Town scares me :scared: I bet that town will have 600 cars of the 650 and divided by 300 types of skylines and 300 Evos and the other 50 for the rest of the world :indiff: please dont make me this KY :guilty:

Nice list there

LMAO @ the "Las Vegas drug strip"
"Gland" Canyon sounds nice, too.

Cool new features!

The Pit commands are finaly defined. I'm starting to get more interested in this B-Spec mode. And this sounds cool, see below. I wonder how will we control the volume of fuel. Perhaps, just push a certain button for fuel flow?

Pit Menu:
Allows players to adjust their selection of tyres (front/rear) and volume of fuel for refueling.

Hmmm, I'm beginning to suspect that Kaz is a racist.

Before you stupid people respond, look up the word sarcasm in the dictionary first.

There is a sweden? Holy Christmass! That means my dream car could still be in the game.....
Koenigsegg CCR and CC8S!
Insane vehicles there.
"It may be a sweed, but it isn't a turnip..."

Actually, I think it has more to do with the Swiss rally courses in the game, but good luck with your Koenigs.

There are 64 Active Users? My goodness. GT4 is more critically-acclaimed than I thought. Whew!

Anyhow, I would like to go into retrograde and quote something I said at least three months ago:

From: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1094182&postcount=30 (from: May 23, 2004 at 1:36 AM EDT)

If you ask me, LoudMusic, I like the city thing. Of course, I like urban life. Spyker C8? Isn't that a Dutch car? By the way, the Gillet Vertigo is the car responsible for me owning the JGTC cars during the Tokyo R246 Endurance winning with a time of about 2:42:00.

I know my little paragraphs aren't organized, but I'm trying. Anyhow, Koenig does have that Porsche 962 rendition. So between now and then, anything can still happen. It seems like the GT Resorts from about 3 or 6 months ago seems like nothing compared to now. The Resorts then was pretty cool. I haven't analyzed the list too much, but... any chance of a Paint Shop, that is unless the Tuner Car Village will do that.

I so want some British Tracks in GT4 I so wanted them to put a Thruxton in GT4 but its to late for that now.

"Towns" are for cars, not the tracks. So, not having Belgium on the list doesn't mean anything in terms of tracks.

As for Spa and all other European Circuits, only Nurb was annonced so far as European track. As for 31 track was announced on TGS in total, there is 19 more tracks to be unvield. As TGS is Japanese event, focus was on Japanese circuits. Real American and European tracks will certanly be - partially - unvield as release date will come closer.

As for "time-machine", I see the '80 and '90 Fuji as a nice "prologue" into something that can result with Nurb from late 30-ties. Crossed fingers there.

Nice comment !
It is known that Japanese people (just like Americans, Europeans, Australians, . . .) are more focussed on their home market -> cars, circuits, tuners, ... so it is rather obvious that PD unveils new stuff that interests the visitors of TGS. That way the Japanese gamers (that get GT4 first) get excited most. This strategy makes it possible to use the same trick on the European and the American market.
I'm convinced that there will be more than enough Skylines and Lancer Evo's in GT4, but that the worldwide mix of cars and manufacturers will be far more 'objective' that in any other previous GT. Personally I am an afficionado of all kinds of classic cars. So I hope to see lots of them. I wouldn't be surprised if they (PD) would add some classic European circuits. Just think of all those classic car rallies that are organised all over Europe. Just imagine sweeping through the insane curves and hills on the beautiful Dalmatian coastal road in Croatia with a classic 911. Oh boy ! 👍

Lol, this one is classic. Sorry, but Americans just don't know where they have the world

Well, I hope we'll see more swedish cars than those two Volvos...

Seeing as there's less than 300 cars in that 'official' list and we're supposed to have over 650, I'd say you have a good chance.

Oops, honest mistake. But, there are 'Swedish Alps'. Check Gästrappet with a Google search. Who needs the geography lesson now? :sly:

Haha. Fools. There are no "alps" in Sweden. When you say "alps" you mean high, pointy mountains and in Sweden they does not exist (well, there may be a few, very few) 'cause we have older mountains, that are more flat and not as high.

Btw, I told ya' all in the post just above Dev_Zero and S13KS...

What? Less than 300? I thought the official list was on...well, 500 cars or something. But, then that's great :D
