I changed my mind... Since it only takes a few minutes to redesign the board for this...

I'll make these available in about 3 weeks. It's not difficult to adjust what I have already done so it works with the G25/G27 pedals. I'll probably post something when they are ready.

After the whole "Small Flat Rate box, no tracking mess" I changed my shipping options. One of those is now Express Mail, which does cost more. Spike used the Express Mail option. Even at that, it took longer than I would have wished to get there.

Ah, I thought he was one of the first customers. Hence my surprise.
My guess is that American customs like to be a pain as always.

Anyways, no need to apologize. It just means that it is still within the to be expected time frame (also relative to other packages and services).
My guess is that the package might arrive in the Netherlands by the end of the week. Then next Monday it will go to the central sorting center here. And the next day to me.

In any case it needs to cross the puddle (ocean) first. Any mail in west Europe takes only 3 days max to be delivered as far as I am aware of.

My SFA1 arrived today!!!


Got it all set-up with my CSR, TH8RS & wheelstand pro - works like a charm. :-D

Great build quality & a nice little instruction sheet included. I'm very impressed by this independent solution - great innovation & I'd recommend it to anyone using fanatec wheels/shifters as the TH8RS is so much better than the fanatec ones.

I've got it all tucked away neatly under my pedals which is a shame in some ways as it is a smart little unit :-)

Woohoo! Another user from a far off land sent me a PM today and said their SFA1 arrived as well. I'm guessing the international orders will start showing up soon. These orders took longer than usual to reach their international destinations... I can only guess it's because I used "priority" mail. How ironic.

How lovely confusing marketing of grand companies work. lol

I also would have a different idea of "priority" like you. So no hard feelings, I would make the same mistake in the same position most likely. heh

Yeah that was a bummer. I checked out what to use on the USPS site, saw that priority was trackable all the way to the destination and had guaranteed delivery in 7 days max. I thought, "PERFECT." I managed to miss the fine print on the page saying that this doesn't apply to small flat rate boxes and envelopes. If you ask me, they should drop the "priority" part and just call them a small flat rate box and flat rate envelope.

Let's hope mine arrives before the weekend too. I am curious to see how it works. Though I must say... I feel my heart for GT5 will be destroyed after basically only playing pCARS for months now. :S

It's going to be a 4" Hardbar made of Delrin. 1.5" in diameter. It will be drilled and tapped to fit directly on the TH8 shaft and counterbored to sit low. It'll look exactly like this

If I wanted to spend more I could have it modeled directly off the one in my car which iI really like but the guy I'm getting it from already has a program to make the one in the pic but he's drilling and tapping it to my specs.

This is my TH8 with the delrin knob from my car. It's the same length and diameter as the one I ordered. The custom one will sit approximately the same height as well which is about 1" lower than where the top of the stock TH8 knob sits.....makes a big difference in the feel of the throw.
