Milking a horse...I've milked a cow, a goat, a sheep and even a dog, but I've never milked a horse.

...but have you milked a cat?

I haven't, but I'm not going to lie, the next time a barn cat is pregnant, I'm going to try. I'll report my experience as soon as I squeeze out my first thimble of milk.

An expedition member walks on the cooled lava floor, turned red by the reflected glow of a lake, of a caldera in Nyiragongo volcano in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. "Down here you feel the volcano," says photographer Carsten Peter. "It's a low-frequency rumbling that pulses through your body—like being inside a giant subwoofer."

and there's more...

A miner climbs on excavated rocks after a giant drill machine broke through at the final section Sedrun-Faido, at the construction site of the NEAT Gotthard Base Tunnel March 23, 2011. Crossing the Alps, the world's longest train tunnel should become operational at the end of 2016. The project consists of two parallel single track tunnels, each of a length of 57 km (35 miles).

Hehe! Total Recall? :)

Indeed, from the bit where the friendly dude turns out to be an unfriendly mutant dude and tries to squish Arnie with the tunnelling mole so Arnie spears him with the biggest drill in the universe!

"F18 goes supersonic over the USS Mobil Bay and USS Shoup"

I'm not saying this isn't an awesome picture, but a condensation cloud around the jet does not mean supersonic flight, indeed it is highly unlikely that an f-18 would fly supersonic at that low level unless absolutely necessary. Sorry, it's just a common misconception that bugs me for some reason.

I think I know where that place is actually. I'm probably wrong though
EDIT: Yup, I'm wrong. It's Paekakariki...
Don't you just love our place names :dopey:

After so many years of seeing the normal traffic lights, these ones look pretty functional, objective and modern, so i vote yes to this initiative! But in a way it souldnt be in LED... because here in Lisbon they changed a few to LED and it really hurts my eyes lol!

Stupid idea. It won't work for colorblind people because they won't be able to tell the difference between red and green without seeing the entire sequence and then having a second go at it. Currently, red and green are always in the same locations so there is never any confusion.

I think there is more to it than that. It's got to be a joke. Approaching a set of lights, one would glance at them to determine what they would do next. To stare at them for more than a few seconds to figure out what stage they are at would be idiotic and dangerous.
