Found this girl pic! It reminded me of that photo of National Geographic awarded pic! Surely it was the inspiration of this foto!

The person that took the picture of that woman went back, found her, and photographed her again ~20yrs later. She had no idea her face had become so popular.

While the subject matter may not be considered amazing or cool, I can't believe this photograph is 68 years old, almost looks like it could have been taken yesterday.

I also can't believe that the HST can take such detailed photos of Neptune as this when it is 4.5 billion kilometres away.

My point was that Neptune is infintesimally small compared to that galaxy, even if it is considerably closer, and yet it still comes out crystal clear.

It is Eleanor Roosevelt with the then first lady of China, Madame Chiang Kai-Shek in front of The White House in 1943. During which Kai-Shek became the first Chinese national and second woman to address both houses of the US Congress.

That galaxy is so small at that distance you could fit hundreds of them inside Neptune at its distance.
