Seeing an aurora is one of my life targets as well guys.
Plus, if I will never see the Milky Way as on Neal's picture, my life won't be complete.

Weee, I discovered something :3

Seeing the Milky Way [when it is] fully naked is possible when one is at least 100 km away from a bigger source of light I guess... Like 3 months ago I was STARing (:dopey:) at the sky when I was on countryside 30 km away from Lublin (city in Poland) - this was the very first time when I saw the Milky Way. When I look at pic you posted, I can tell I only saw a drop in the ocean of STARs, and that still was one hell of a sight.
