If she seems a little crazy, it's because she's stuck in Antarctica through the winter (half the year). For most parts of Antarctica, once the winter comes there is no getting in or out. You're stuck there with the same ~50 people in the same building day in and day out.
 
^^^ Cool vid... I have an RC car standing at home too, makes me want to take it outside now since its nice weather here :P
 
^ I haven't had a proper RC car for many years but I'm training my 2 year old up on supermarket RC toy cars now so I can justify getting a nitro truck as soon as possible...probably still going to be a while though.


I've just spotted you've changed you sig 👍 👍 👍, how could I have missed there was a new series of South Park??? :ill: I blame Sky+ and not watching adverts anymore. Think I've missed 4 episodes but I'm sure I'll be able to find them ;)

Good idea... always get them interested early :D Then when he does get a proper one, you can get one too and claim its a hobby with your child :P Funny how things work...

Off-topic: If you havent checked season 14 its worth it :) That first episode where my quote is from is genius! :D

I've already checked the schedule for Comedy Central and will be setting the Sky box to record them all when I get home tonight ;)


@ Omnis: They don't take too kindly to being landed on their roof! It might have been an attempt at a back flip, something I'm looking forward to having a go of when I finally get my hands on a proper RC car...will no doubt end in tears!

I have (although it doesn't work anymore) a nitro truck, with a drill start engine, which produced 2.1BHP at 31,000rpm. It has a supposed 70mph top speed :scared: although I suspect I never achieved that.

Great fun, until some sand got into a rear wheel bearing while I was running it at the beach. The replacement parts I sent off for were the wrong ones, so it never got repaired. It has since been forgotten, I had better get it running again.

That was one of the coolest videos I have ever seen:tup: The tetris, pong, and when the donkey kong barrel busted the fire hydrant were my favorite parts:)

My favourite part was the Teris bit, but the subway stations disappearing was very impressive too!

Seeing some street art reminds me of the below in Liverpool a few years ago. I actually walked down the street and saw this myself without knowing about it beforehand, I was godsmacked to say the least!



Another great street art event from Liverpool's 2008 Capital Of Culture year. Not great if you've got arachnophobia!
