Actually isolating the fly from the Golden Orb's web was...brilliant.

Spiders are more clever than I thought.
 
I got a tear in my eye watching this. =P

After a man parted with his 1972 Mach 1 Mustang he brought brand new that year as his first car, 24 years later his son returns the car back to its rightful owner without the fathers knowledge. I think the guy soiled himself when he saw it in the window. Son of the year right there.

 
Not sure whether or not to post this but I'm going to risk it. Not cool but certainly amazing. This is footage of a US cargo plane in Afghanistan falling out of the sky after take off. All 7 on board were killed.

Watch at your discretion if you find this kind of thing deeply upsetting.


I've never seen a plane fall out of the sky like that. Did it just stall? I saw someone mention that it looked like the plane suffered a change of center of gravity as if it's cargo became detached in the hull.
 
Story is it was carrying military vehicles and the weight shifted to the rear, causing the plane to stall on takeoff, and well... not much the pilots could do at that point. Seven dead.
 
^That. Most likely scenario is whatever kind of tie-downs they had on those armored trucks couldn't hold the weight and failed. Center of gravity was shifted to the back > plane's angle of attack was at the freakin stars as you saw > stall. The loadmaster was on board so he wouldn't have purposely done a lousy job.

The pilots actually did everything they were supposed to do to recover from that stall they were in, they just ran out of room. After that who knows what would've happened. Horrible way to go.

New report on a pretty entertaining story and here's the brief:

One day, a guy named Torres gets a job offer by the CIA to rob banks in order to evaluate how well their security is. Each time he successfully robs a bank, he gets a wad of money. If not, he still gets some money. The banks and staff are obviously unaware of the greater purpose and he is to not reveal his intentions. Torres gets all his instructions via phone from a guy who goes by the name of Theo, but the two have never met. Incredible story.

$11 an hour!? If I had such job I would never leave it! My last job was $2 per hour and I wasn't expecting anything better :crazy: Great story anyway.
 
I found this really cool... David Bowie's Space Oddity, performed in space. With feeling (Chris Hadfield comes back to Earth today after 5months on the ISS).

The 4th guy in the blue car didn't need to slow down as much as he did. People like that make traffic flow even worse, where I live the roads are full of them. Car half a mile away braking? Best brake too! :banghead:
