About 3 hours away from the start of the finish. What a crazy and unpredictable season it has been. Some great drama and great racing has come down to the final race at Daytona. Good luck to all (except Sass of course ;) ). There will certainly be some tense moments come the end of the race.

Looking forward to it. Optimistically nervous. Let's try and keep it clean, at least for the last 5 laps.

This race will be great for me. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Me and killer are tied, so that should be a good little team battle. Your mine killer. :mischievous:

We expecting 10 tonight?

You forget ace I'm already a point up for pole tonight cocky much yes but when your this fast you can be lol ;)

Guess I will have to lead the half-way lap then to tie it back up.

Interesting season...that's for sure. Sass, congrats again on the championship...well race, well deserved. Rap, thanks for being a great teammate and congrats on being the only 2x winner. Not upset about losing the championship, just don't like how it happened in the last 2 races.

To be honestly i was scared in Daytona race because car is so powerfull and speed was high. It's very important every driver to keep their lane in corners - now that wasn't the case. I been Daytona race (other NASCARs series) where it been cleaner when lane are kept and nobody change lane in corners (no cautions were used).
Now there was too many cautions :(

It's been fun racing with you. Learned a lot from you how to race ovals and NASCARs. Now i feel little tired because time zone different between us (US vs Finland) and have to wake up early in the morning (3:30 AM).
I'm afraid i'm not coming back racing with you anymore. We'll see....

Finally conrats to Sass and to Rap race winner.

Now bye all and maybe see you on track/race in future....

Hey Jammy, thanks. You learned fast and hope you can work something out to race with us again.

I was going to keep my mouth shut but I can't. Last night was the most ridiculous race I have ever been in. Daytona takes the least amount of skill compared to the other tracks we race at, and still we have cleaner races at Motegi. Yes, I made a few very bonehead moves. But not nearly as many as other people. Nobody but 1 person held their line, and every time someone was beside me they would push me under the yellow. I don't know what the deal is with everyone but we need to figure it out.

Now the thing that really pissed me off. That BS caution for greest. For one, he pitted right after the caution was thrown which is not aloud from what I understand. He did that more then once, now if he didn't know that was not aloud i'm
Sorry and apologize for my rant.
"I'm going to 🤬 the field up so we need a caution"
Are you kidding me?!? Seriously?! For one, who the hell even says that? Are we in a online public lounge? NO! This is a league and we are racing for points.. For fun of course, but not like a causal online race. So your going to wreck the whole damn field like a little whinny brat?! The oldest person here acts the youngest.
And think about this, lets say Jammy (no offense) did something like that, he would probably be kicked from the series. But no no, we can't kick Greest. Very lucky he has friends in here and a "free pass" to do whatever no penalty whatsoever. Hell, I know i'm not very liked around here so I would have been kicked if that was me. Probably wouldn't have thrown a caution for me too.

Whatever, I hope greest is happy. He made a few people quit this series. Congrats Sass, thanks for
A great season as my teammate Track.

The caution for greest was absolutely necessary, if we were going to have a fair race. There was a wreck, me and greest took a while to get back going, we miade our pit stops so the race could continue quickly. When we caught back up everyone else was already at the line. Greest stopped because he had passed some people while slowing down, everyone just went. He didn't so i knew id lose the draft of I didn't pass him before start finish so I did. It was a very sloppy restart.

I'm not very aggravated with the restart, just the comments he made really put me over the top. He shouldn't have pitted that lap anyway because the leaders were already in turn 1 when he pitted..

Well if anything needs to be done about that then thats up to the stewards. I pitted as well but that was only because he did, I just assumed we were pitting to keep the race going, if anyone in front of me wanted to pit I would have gladly let them back in front of me.

That being said I really enjoyed this season and I learned a lot about oval racing. The two things I would like to see for next season is a more traditional road course, and less complaining. Guys we are out there to race...the fact that we get into each other means we are having a close race. I know some people got into me, and I got into some other people it happens. Sometimes you catch a bump the wrong way or the car behind you gets too big of a run, or the car in front checks up. Its part of racing, sometimes we get races with a long green flag run, and some times they are caution filled like last night. All that really should matter is that we are having fun. Someone will inevitably get the short end of the the stick and hopefully it evens out. Like sass said last night part of winning a championship is luck. I know I enjoyed racing with everyone and I hope everyone enjoyed racing with me.

Hopefully ill see you guys on the track again even if I am only racing in a part time capacity, Ive been thinking of running the vintage series as well.

Thanks to all for an exhilerating season; Thank you Bowtie for your hard work hosting. Our finale was ultra intensified with an double diget field and the sun setting on our opportunity to produce the best placement for our teams and selves. I am regretful I have not tempered my PS3 controller use consistently subtle and smooth (striving to have an Aceboy like grasp); as I haven't allocated a small fortune on my dream accessory. I want to apologize to everyone whom I have bumped, or spun out; or when running toward the front and in the process of falling back after making contact impeding the flow of traffic. It has been great fun good Sir's. I hope to see each and every one of you on the tarmac soon! Take care, and wish you all good fortune on & off the track. Maximum Respect, from me your AngryEater Ryan

Please keep in mind you don't have to love thy neighbor; but please love competing with and against thy neighbor. Love and compassion for life, let's leave the tragedy & strife where we haven't control

Well my first real accomplishment in GT. I call it an accomplishment because of the level of competitors. Bowtie, Track, Ace, and Killer are all the original gangsters of this league. When I first joined at the end of season one, I had no setup and was bouncing all over the place. I spent two years running road courses and these ovals were beyond my grasp. After a ton of practice and a generous amount of setup help from the people listed above I got this oval racing dialed in. I can't thank everyone that has helped me enough. Bowtie, was a great teammate and was willing to share. Which I would like to say only benefits the group. When we all have capable setups under the car it benefits everyone. I probably wont ever compete for a pole but my cars have speed and can draft well. So thank you Bowtie.

10 drivers showed up for the season finale which for some reason seemed like a lot of cars compared to the usual 8. Few too many cautions but maybe that's to be expected with the amount of cars. I had a good race and lead a handful of laps. Probably spent too much time looking for Track in the driver list just to keep my good eye on him. It was a bizarre feeling getting freight trained by 8 cars when your stuck in the top lane. I tried to work with my teammate a couple times but it just didn't work out. I wanted Bowtie to get this final victory. We had couple people run out of gas which I didn't realize was possible. I put 5 liters in on the first stop and that was it for the rest of the race. I was scary low on fuel. Great second win to Rap-alicious. Great move around Killer coming out of two. Move of the race really.

On to a few serious topics. Everyone needs to quit ripping on other people. All of this crap can be handle in a better way. I guarantee we all have something ****ty to say about someone else after that race but how about if we cool off a bit first. Running your mouth after the race just makes you look like a jerk with no self control. Killer did the right thing and just rolled out. I think we all know why he was pissed and for good reason. This is not the first time this pit stop issue has come up. Not sure it is printed in the rules but just so we're all clear "THE PITS ARE CLOSED UNTIL THE FIELD REGROUPS". The field must always re-group then usually the pits will be open. Bowtie has a difficult task to police this issue and really needs everyone to use common sense and follow the rules. If not written in the rules fall back on the common sense part. Better communication would help as well. If your mic is muted and something happens to you, un-mute your mic. I understand we have mic problems but they usually come back on.

Anyway, thank you everyone. I really had so much fun racing with everyone. Bow, I know it's a chore cause I've done it before, but awesome job managing the league again this season. You do a great job, let me know if you ever need any help. I'm ready for my new avatar!! And maybe now I'll put something in my signature.

I realized that we all wanted a more realistic Nascar series, but I did not realize that involved crap cautions.

Wait this is supposed to be realistic? I'm pretty sure somebody wouldn't threaten to wreck the whole field unless he got his way in a real NASCAR race

Well there is the time Carl Edwards drove backwards one race. My post was supposed to be a joke anyway, you know HAHAHA. Geez

None the less congrats Sass. Well deserved championship. Also thanks everyone for congratulating me on the win! I really want to thank Killer for not pulling a stupid move on me 👍 Anyway, great season everyone. Will see hopefully most of you in the IROC series!

Thx Rap. Everyone seems to have an opinion on the incompetence caution that was thrown late in the race. I think Bowtie had to make a very quick decision and I can't really fault him for either choice he could have made. It's not like we could have taken a vote screaming down the back straight. So let's not fault him for making a snap decision. I feel really bad for Track getting knocked out of competition with 2 laps to go. Some of us really need to work on holding our line on the bottom so the people in the top line don't get screwed.

And hey, there's that new signature. Pretty ain't it?

Awards are posted
Congrats to all the winners this season the most competative season ive ever had with ARS 6 winners in 7 races.

Awesome Bowtie, just awesome. Thank you for running a great series. Nice work on the team championship and I can't believe we let Toyota win the manufacturer of the year.

Very nice... From Rookie of The Year to the Front runner of The Year.. Next is the championship? Hopefully  (doubt it)

My apologies to those I offended.
To Jammy in particular, don't quit this series because of me. They are a super bunch to race with, and I'd rather I bow out than you. Have fun with them, like I said, they are awesome to race with...

:guilty:

We should make a rule to not drink and race. Hmmm...

It's not races it's a time zone difference.
My apologies to those I offended.
