I've been wanting to request something new. I think its best after the incident last season at Daytona (the first race where there was a massive crash) and yesterday in Ace's series that we should do green white checkers. Heres how it would work
Put the laps at 3, 1 pace lap and 2 full racing laps. If another caution were to occur we do it again. Max of 2 times. Just an idea because of past incidents..

The reason behind my push to stop the cautions with 5 to go is for everyone to settle down a bit and really think about the moves they are making. I think the cautions in the majority of the race have helped the racing in the sense guys are a little more willing to try and make a move rather than ride in a line. Afraid if we do a GWC there will just be more over aggressive driving. I think at some point there has to be a consequence for driving like a goon.

I am for it too, especially after the race in my series. Like Track said though there does have to be a consequence to driving like a goon, its just that the "goon" in the Vintage NASCAR Series took 2 drivers out of contention and he went on to finish 2nd.

That "goon" was me. I wasn't aggressive it just i have not enough experience NASCAR racing (was my 2nd race and now learning hard way).

And it has nothing to do with NASCAR experience its common sence in all forms of racing you race people the way you want to be raced to earn respect. Example if you want to be raced clean you race them clean if you want to put ppl in the wall and spin ppl out you will probly b getting it in return
I am over what happened Sunday being good just thought I needed to voice an opinion on the matter I'm in for gwc good call rap ;)

Jammy I don't think the blame for me spinning out is all on you it looks like I came down on you in the replay and for that I am sorry.

I still stand on the no box for GWC. I think there has to be accountability for strategy and clean driving within the designated span of the race. In NASCAR if you wreck and there is a caution, you end up laps down or in the garage. With us, we just restart like nothing happened. As it is I am concerned about some of the decision making we have seen in the preseason and feel there needs to be that accountability part at the end of the race to curb overly aggressive driving and risk taking.

Yep, no GWC. Also everyone needs to chill about what happens in these races. We're all fighting for position and somebody comes away with the short end of the stick. Thats racing. I say turn damage on. Im not sure why its not on when we have cautions. Thats the point of cautions to me. Drive your wrecked pile around and get it fixed. Regroup the field and lets party. Its the small damage from a wall tap that might force everyone to chill out just a little. I want beatin and bangin. If you bump any part of my car, dont apologize. You just made the game more real for me. If you spun me out, we have cautions. Inside of 5 laps, whatever happens, happens.

Killer, Bowtie, aceboy: as Killer said sunday is now over and done - lesson learned hard way in my part. As NASCAR comes - to me it's different kind of racing and those oval track need different driving styles (bump drafting and drafting, close racing side by side all the time, etc). A lot to learn. So see you all in next race.

I am in strong agreement with Sass' post from above about having heavy damage and beatin and bangin...I still do like the idea of GWCs though.

See I understand everyones point of view, but i disagree. Accidents happen, especially with few laps to go. GWC would be there just incase. We probably wouldn't even use them often.

How damaging is the bump drafting? That is where the testing would need to be. If you can give a reasonable shot in a bump draft without damage I would be all for putting damage on. Didn't we have it on in the IROCs?

I mean if you are going 20 mph faster than the car in front of you then that will probably bring on some damage. I do believe we ran light damage in the IROC Series.

I did last night my first try out this type of car in Motegi and Daytona. I like it :)
Can i still join you after all we been thru?
I quite sure that i would not be in all the races since this race time is here in Finland (GMT +2) at 5:00 AM sunday morning and i have few other race series that take a lot of my time.
I promise to be very carefull and try not to cause any causions. I really like to race in Daytona first and see how i'm doing if that ok?
I have only one car and that is Kyle's car - Toyota, #18, 2011 version.

Full damage last night was awesome really adds a real experience factor to the game. ;)
Getting ready for motegi I need to put my name on the board for track record somewhere lol

I do not think GWC will be added to this season. Will be checking on running damage thow.

Alright, but I have bad news. I might not be able to make the race Saturday. My Great Grandmother is not looking so good and as we all know family is more important the video games. Just depends at this point, sorry Track and everyone else for a short notice.
