The audi r10 TDI.....

^Yeah on GT6 on the PS4.

The R10 will go longer between stops than the comparable 908, but the 908's torque makes it a bullet down Mulsanne.

What I found to be useful, was plop in a stage 3 turbo into the R10, and then restrict the engine power down to what you want as what makes the diesel engine superior is in torque not horsepower. That, and you can save on the fuel side of things.

Going to be honest here...compared to the other LMPs, the R10 was quite a disappointment when i bought it. It looks good, sounds good, and the cockpit is cool...but it doesnt handle very well and isnt that fast on the stretch (comparatively). But, I still love it.

I like the Audi R10, but it takes a lot to tame, but the 908 is a bit easier, so its good practice to handle the torque. But I think they are both great cars to drive, but the 908 cockpit view is a bit difficult, and the Audi's is really pleasant to drive from, so really its personal preference :D

In real life, I understand that the 908 is the faster car over 1 lap. The Audi wins races when the Peugeots make mistakes, use more diesel or because the 908 is not as reliable as the Audi. None of which applies to GT5, but it might explain why the 908 is faster - because it is realistic.

I'm gonna grinding the RCT again so I can get the Matmut 908 and the R10. I was 1st going to buy the R10, but then I compared it with the 908 and went with the Team Total one (better design then the Matmut IMO)

Personally, I found, after a bit of tuning that the r10 actual is a bit easier to tame. the 908, due to it's power, has a tendency to spin that i havent been able to tune out. The r10 i was able to tune it out pretty well so that it's handling is just wonderful. it's still a bit underpowered but it is quite a fun car to drive. I just wish in the way of lmp's that there was more even competition. every single car is from a different year or era, so it's hard to make a decent match up on the game. :indiff: That on top of the fact that there's no reletive fuel consumption makes lmp less fun to race. It is a blast on practice though. What's also fun to do is get say 4-6 lmps online and fill the rest of the track with gt2. gives it a load more excitment.
