Oh yes, he is awesome although he's a bit small. But that doesn't seem to stop him, although I think he's a bit wasted at Man City.

Ps, what do you think of Stewart Downing from the Borro? Sven needs to pull his head out of his arse and give him a chance in the England squad.

Lemme guess, he'd be able to improve his skills at Chelsea?

I would have thought he would have gone to L'Arse more than anywhere else (well the most fitting place seeing as they like his Da a bit there), maybe a better option than Ljungberg. Plus, we've got Roooben and Duuuuuf (man).

Anyone got any thoughts on Harry Redknapp and him loosing his manager position at Pourtsmouth. I just don't understand it, I mean they were doing pretty well for a club in it's second season in the prem.

Yea, it doesnt. Apparently Berger and one or two of their other big names dont get on well with the new guy. A pretty stupid move by the board to change things - continuity is a must for a successful team.

I kind of find it ironic that he 'left' (well apparently he left) just after he won the manager of the year award. Although to be honest Southampton are having the same problem, the chairmen seem to have a bit too much say.

PS Berger is an awesome player.

Berger is, why Liberpoo let him got i dont know.

Redknap should go to S'oton. Wigley is rather.....useless at motivating his players.

Petit? Man, would the old age home permit that?

That sonuds a tad panicky. He should rather sign another long term prospect for midfield. And face it that this season is just not gonna happen regarding trophies :(

I forgot, no other team actually buys players. Man U and Arsenal just magically get them somehow.

You may have also forgot that those teams create a youth systems with their cash. Which after a few years blosom into world class players. The likes of Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Cole. And alot of this fundage is from winning things not a sudden huge cash injection.

So apart from Ashley Cole, who else in Arsenals first team is a product of their youth system? I can't think of any names. And Chelsea are spending money on that, as well and I forgot, Chelsea have never won anything ever have they.

I think the point d.o.s. is trying to make is that Chelsea have created a transfer market for themselves that no other team can compete in. They can basically get any player they want by throwing lots of lolly at the target club. Other teams have to first worry about the clubs bottom line before making acquisitions.

That said, the players still have to perform, just ask Ranieri.

I understand that I mean look at the money we paid for Drogba, he isn't worth half of that for a relatively unprooven player. Same goes for Carvalho and Paulo Feirera, they just knew Chelsea wouldn't care how much it cost to get them. The only player I think that was worth what we paid for him is Robben.

As for having all the money, well most Chelsea fans don't like it. I don't like it, but overall it will benifit the club hopefully unless we end up doing a Leeds. They have started to invest money in new training facillties and the youth system also. But then again we are destined to be hated because of it, almost becoming the Man United of the south.

Chelsea Destroyed Newcastle 4- 0, pretty good match.

Im an Arsenal fan, and to be quite frank, i think Chelsea are gonna whoop our asses on december12th. :indiff:

Didn't Fulham also put 4 against the Magpies last week? They haven't got anything remotly close to a good defence this season, come to think of it how many Premiership teams have a good defence?

Yeah your right but i think that match happened at the beginning of last month on 7/11/2004, and Newcastle did manage to struggle a goal making it 4-1 to Fulham

Newcastle's defence is appaling as you said, but i think Chelsea have a good line of defence and probably the best, considering they have conceeded the least goals and lets face it, they have a damn good keeper.

I recon it will be a tight game, although i'll probably be watching it with about 4 other Arsenal fans. :scared:

Whats with all these 4 - 0 victorys all of a sudden, this is just odd.

Lets hope the other four Arsenal fans aren't buffed. :)

At the beginning of the season the Blues were winning on a margin of one goal to nil for quite a bit, now they are doing four goals to nil. What next 7 goals to nil, it gets worrying :scared:

Actually this is quite scary

Chelsea 4 - 0 Blackburn 23/10
Chelsea 4 - 1 West Bromwich Albion 30/10
Chelsea 4 - 1 Fulham 13/11
Chelsea 4 - 0 Charlton Athletic 27/11
Chelsea 4 - 0 Newcastle 04/12

Very worrying for a non Blues fan

Naah, just most of my mates are Arse fans. I know we are having a rather rampant winning streak at the moment, but we are probably due a dip in form. I can't see us keeping this up, allong with the carling cup, fa cup and champions league.

I think the Blues can keep this up, they haven't had any major slip ups like Arsenal have and generally the Blues have a very organised team. I just hope the Blues dont embarass, us Gunners, too much on December12th.

Get Pro Evolution Soccer 4.

Yup. PES 4 is an excellent game!!

Has anyone got any thoughts on Arsenal's game on the 07/12 against Rosenburg. Im hoping that the Gunners can do a repeat performance of their game at Birmingham, if not better.
