Campbell wasnt a youth player when Arsenal bought him. He was well into his mid-late twenties.

The point is Manu and Arsenal need players. Chelsea already have two full teams that would beat almost any other english team. Why the need to continually buy more and more players?

What players are we buying? And if Cole goes to Chelsea, i'll eat something inedable.

Gotta get that in a quote :D. Oh and for players bought that arent really needed: Geremi, that new Czech guy, Gerrard (!)..

Wouldnt it be funny if Arsenal traded Reyes from Owen or Beckham

Geremi was a Ranieri panic buy, like Crespo and Veron. I think he'll probably go at the end of the season. Jarosik has been pretty good cover for Makalele and he's on like a 6 month trial.

If Gerrard goes to Chelsea, I will try and eat that same thing again. Don't bloody need Gerrard and I think he would be better suited at Man U or Arsenal, but I think he will stay at pool.

Owen at Arsenal would be good, seeing as he would recive quality balls from Henry/Vieira/Pires etc I think he would do well. Beckham would suck a large one though.

To be honest, I dont think Beckham has a future at any English club. He'll get the bird everywhere he plays. I wouldnt mind Owen at Arsenal. Bergkamp's walker is only good for a few more miles...

You know i'm suprised he's still at Arsenal, I remember a while back rumours of him going back to Ajax. I think he's still a damn good player for his age though, I recon he'll do you for another season or two. But depending if you buy another striker he'll get used less which is probably better for him.

I can't remember where I read it, but I read something about Beckham going to Ac Milan on loan.

Rosicky? that bastige who turned me down like a hundred times in PES :mad:

Not a bad signing at all.

Well you should have been Spurs instead of Arsenal. It's mainly because Dortmund are having financial problems.

Race Idiot
I'll think you will find most clubs do it, look at Arsenal for instance.

Van Persie = Feyenoord Academy
Fabregas = Barcalona Academy
Reyes = Sevillia Academy
Flamini = Marseille Academy
Quincy Owusu Abeyie = Ajax Academy
Sol Campbell = Spurs Academy

There are probably more but allot of teams are like that, spurs buy a whole load of young players from other clubs academys I mean they signed two Notts forrest youths this season, Man U signing Youth from all over the bloody place. You just like to single out Chelsea because they have 'ILLEGAL RUSSIAN MAFFIA MONEY LOLS' even though every bloody club does it.

Sorry about the constant digs RI, it's that your team have 3 players who were made by my club. Man u are a bit guilty of that, but I can easily let them off because they have made countless players that still play there. The thing I like about Arsenals is that they buy players that are unknown, meaning they have a good scouting system alowing them to get players other teams don't really know about. Chelsea just buy anybody, and don't put much thought into it. Especialy last season. :)

GLASGOW (Reuters) - Heart of Midlothian fans have asked the Scottish Football Association to find out which teams their referees support after Rangers were awarded a late penalty in a 2-1 win over the Edinburgh club this month.

Four supporters' groups have written to SFA chief executive David Taylor to protest about what they view as biased refereeing towards Glasgow rivals Rangers and Celtic.

"We do not believe this is just about Hearts as we believe that every Scottish Premier League club outside Rangers and Celtic has had the same experience," the letter reads.

"We cannot overstate how serious we think this matter is."

Referees and assistants in the English Premier League disclose which clubs they follow and the Hearts fans have urged the SFA to follow suit.

Fans threw coins at World Cup referee Hugh Dallas after the match on March 2 along with his assistant Andy Davis, who flagged for the spot kick. Heart's Saul Mikoliunas was sent off for barging the linesman and Rangers striker Dado Prso was also dismissed.

Hearts questioned the "integrity" of the penalty award and demanded an inquiry which prompted the SFA to bring disrepute charges against the club.

Imagine that in the Premiership.

ManU would increase their official fanbase by like 30 people.

Thats pretty funny. UEFA "throw the book at Chelsea" by fining the club 33k. :scared:

Imagine if it had been..50,000!

PS, Ha on his touch line ban :D
