:D

Did they actually have Camaros with ITBs like that or is that engine compliments of Dreamworks?

I have no idea what it is, but it's in a S30 Z....

The pimped 302 in my '68 Cougar. ~400hp (road dyno soon to figure it out.)

Well, it's beautiful to me. :) New pic when it gets nice rocker covers and maybe something decent to replace that Edelbrock Torker 289 manifold!

i think maybe they had something made just for that shot, theres no pics on the net of any camaro with that engine in, the one used in the film had a standard engine in reality

It was a physical mockup, if you look closely in the film, you can see the top hose coming out of the engine, and diving behind the pulley bracketry - going nowhere.

Nice though. Crossflow manifold for twin-choke sidedraught Webers/throttle bodies. Inglese used to do thiem, but I think Comp Cams have bought them, and now they're thinning out product.

Bubble Bunny, you made my Day. I'll take one of those, in my 300TE...

Jim Prower wins the thread.

Wait, Why? Was it the C15 ACERT? the (Flying Scotsman) Gresley A3? the 7M-GTE? or the LS1 in the S30?

The gauges are dumb, but he has the mechanical know-how to back it up. A 2JZ can support 600 horses on stock internals. Apparently, an M103 can too. :) I wonder if an M104 can do that... *consults the shopforum*

Ah yes, Pumpish. He's a crazy, tasteless guy with a crazy, tasteless car. But I admire his enthusiasm, and he works on the car himself. 👍

I must say that his car definitely belongs in the questionable mods thread. It's quite hideous, being blue and having a red soviet star on it. But what an inventive way to use a hood star.

Apparently he eats transmissions with his 300E.

They were poking fun at his tastes on Shopforum, but still, he's quite the mechanic. 👍

Having just wandered through his videos of his 300E, I think this guy Roman is a proper hero. Personally, I think he has an eye for detail - the dash and body graphics are a touch bright/striking but they're well executed, as is the engine setup. It's obviously done on a budget with a bunch of grit and talent, but hey, bet none of you guys own a 650hp anything...

'nuff respect.

He just needs to learn to drift the thing, pick up some sponsorship, and go professional...I mean, If Nomura can do as well as he does wiht a big, heavy 4-door...

Hi guys. I see you're talking about Mercedes's :P
My whole family drives with Mercs. I have a 190E 2,3-16, dad has a W124 420E and my mom uses it too. My dad has a garage and he specialices in Mercs. So I've seen some quite unique engine solutions during my life :dopey: One that has left it's marks was when a friend of my dad came to the garage with a stock looking W124 300D. Well, he opened the hood and it had MASSIVE turbos (yes, two of them) and the intake manifold was INSANE  He claimed it could do 700 bhp at 2,2 bar :ill: The sound of the engine was horrifying. The turbo whistle was frightening. Shame I have no pics. He sold the car and I have no idea where it is nowadays. I'll see if I can find some pics of it in the net. There are actually quite a few of those "Super turbo" W124's in Finland. It ain't that rare to find a 300bhp merc here...

I can only dream to have as much talent or know-how in my entire being as he has in his thumb. His threads are always a fun read on ShopForum. He also stuffed an M103 into a 190E. I'd like to see that thing go. 👍

Mine doesn't look too shabby..

Clean, indeed.

It looks like you painted the valve cover. Nice choice of color (A little more cherry color and much glossier than you see on most).
What did that Slowboy manifold cover set you back?
