Its not a glitch, PD simply put the exhaust line as straight as possible.

Here's a picture of a GTR exhaust normally found:

Removing the "T" would give the exhaust gases better flow.

They may have base the design on the NISMO GTR RC one

That's all fine, it's more the textures around the exhaust. They're clearly ment for a grey car, and these is no "transition" between the textures even when you have a grey car. I'll try to post a pic later to show it.

I think I will post here rather than making new thread.

Car Settings Bug --> Power Performance parts between setting tabs A/B/C

So here's how to construct the bug:
Purchase all power parts for your car, including the lower stages. i.e. purchase all turbo upgrades 1,2,&3
Go to car settings and under setting A, use some middle power upgrades (stage 1 or 2)
Now go to setting B, install higher power upgrades (stage 3)
Go back to setting A, and you'll notice the same upgrades in setting B is installed in setting A.

This might be confusing to people who back and forth between settings tab.
Didn't try on other upgrades yet (body /suspension etc)

Some upgrades like power, weight reduction ... are common for all 3 presets > A,B,C. There is a note in menu ,something like blacked A B C near those upgrades that affects all three setups. So if you setup weight red.1 for setup A and then in setup B choose wr2 , the later will affect all setups.Same goes for some engine power upgrades.

If I'm not wrong , upgrades that affects all 3 setups are those that were irreversible in GT5 . Once you've done engine power upgrade /weight reduction ,you couldn't revert it back to stock.

Noticed a small visual bug with the exhausts, where decreasing the the exhaust type does not change to the corresponding exhaust in the car model.

It's kind of cool being able to have a racing exhaust visual on stock part.

Are you noticing this in race or just in the tuning shop?

First noticed it when I was doing a race series far below the PP limit. In order to be more competitive I upgraded the exhaust for one track and removed it for the next, the exhaust graphic remained. I was able to reproduce this in the showroom as well afterwards. I could reset the graphic only by changing to an untuned settings sheet. Worked for upgraded to stock only, only tested in offline thought.

Is anyone keeping track of the cars that lack h-pattern shifter support? The 2003 BMW 320i Touring Car '03 is another one. And the 1999 Lister Storm V12 Race Car '99. Weird I would pick 2 in a row that it doesn't work, but I made sure it wasn't a problem with my shifter before posting again.

Yikes. Looks like all endurance races/10 minute races are broken until further updates.

It's not like I wanted to complete IB.

Hi GregOr,

I've just check it out again and I think you're right.

Thanks

The current minute race bug.
If you do just 99% of the first lap and wait near the finish line and roll over when the time expires, you will win, but you will only get one star.

Half Stars IA is bugged, got 105/159 stars and have not got the nascar car to do the nascar event without having to buy the thing, (was a late 1.02 bug too) Since you need at lease 80 stars... (If anyone else can confirm it that would be nice)

Edit: My main save didn't have the car but my backup save did, So stupid. At lease now I can do the nascar events, Who was the bright idea to have 3 events with power limiter of 70%?

A glitch of the car moving while completely stop has happened in 1.02 and 1.03. Brands Hatch, and Green Hell it has happened on. One was with an M3 GT3 (Brands Hatch), and the other was Skyline PaceCar. On Brands Hatch I had skidded off the track into the sandtrap and the car kept creeping along from the middle of the trap till it hit the wall and slowly backed along the wall. On the Green Hell I messed up at Adenauer Forst, and I was pointed to the right side of the track. Noticed I was slowly turning to the left. Has only else seen this? (I will try to record this an post video)

What @danielc said.

Also, means more of this

Tj... It was nascar's actually. They run restrictor plates on ovals to reduce top speed. In the non oval there isn't the limiter.

I know that, but given that on Indy though? That's not an oval. But just having to do the limiter on 3 of the 5 races is just annoying.

I've tried to update to 1.0.3 twice now, and both times it's restarted my PS3 and made it check the filesystem before boot. It did it after agreeing to download the update, but before the download screen ever popped up. Does anyone have an idea as to why?

Edit: Third time did the trick, though nothing different was done...

It has to be within 24 hours.. that is if you log in at 9am and log out at 10am one day then 12 noon the next day you won't get the bonus. Idiotic.

No? I've logged on at like 5 pm yesterday and got my 200% bonus and I logged on Today at 830 am and I am still at 200%.

You have to log on before midnight to get the bonus (Doesn't matter when you log on as long as you log on and (save Pre 1.03). If you log on at 12:01 am you do not get credit for the previous day. (can be confirmed through the time glitch)

A few times now I have logged in the way I described and dropped from 200 to 170...

Half these posts on here are pantomine problems...the online issues are what is spoiling this game the most. PD are more concerned about putting an interior on the m4 than sorting out the terrible online problems #marketing comes first i guess 👎

Game changes tyre grip after pitstop, by adding more grip to all tyres.
Affects on all cars all tyre compounds and all drivetrains.
Many hard cars become "easy" after pitstop, maybe grip after pitstop is that what PD wants to give us, but it's coming only after making pitstop.
Thanks goes to @Spurgy 777 for pointing this out.
Off-line might have same problem, not yet personally tested that part, definitely on on-line there is this problem.
