Of course everyone of your friends could have done 6 or 7 seconds faster, but with the second hand on the wheel it looks not as cool 😎

I've watched several replays about this mission and the truth is clear but sad: it's just me... :nervous: What a surprise :lol:

For the 2 first cars, I'm on the right path, it's ok.
My real concern is the NSX and the RSR that I must overtake before turn 10 (Dunlop). After, it should be easier to come back and overtake the Aston right after turn 16 (Panasonic).

It's really painful, but also an excellent training for the TT with the GT-One.

It was painful, indeed. So painful that I still remember :banghead:

I had exactly the same strategy, but unfortunately I was too slow in most of the cases to overtake them "save" before dunlop. The result was that I pushed so hard before Dunlop in order to overtake them that I had a terrible entry into turns 11 and 12.
Then I changed the strategy. I focused on a good entry for turns 11 and 12, carried more speed and overtook NSX and the RSR between Turns 14 and 15. Because of the same reason I avoided to pass the Aston in Turn 16. Instead I focussed on the driving line to have a more or less good exit. Then I used slipstream to catch the Aston on the straight (it's long enough, but of course not in every try :ill:).
Maybe the most stupid strategy (born out of despair). But it worked.

If it's useful, I would share the video "for friends", but I don't want to paste you with my crap.

Just take your time. You will do it. I know you :cheers:

Well back to the drawing board.
I need to try to earn as many gold medals as possible, it's up to me. I am using the guides that are on Youtube, I'm not asking for help. Unless it's an emergency.
 
Yes, I think the sector of the Eiger track that is brutal is Sector 3 because you have to stay to the far left of the curb to clip the next corner, and use good driving lines and cornering techniques to pass the test with a gold time. That's the only way I know to do it properly.

Reads like you think there has to be more than 1 way to do it properly ? And why do you think it's "brutal" to stay on the far left ?
 
(v1.50) Just completed the Mount Panorama circuit experience, definitely one of the hardest for me, not including Nordschleife haven't even passed silver on that one. I've found changing the brake balance to -3,-4 helps a lot, not sure if this is related to the new physics.

Congrats to you, how many runs did you have to do before finally earning a gold time? I see your time at the lower right of the screen. Amazing job...

I still can't gold the last 3 in the S-Licence and I cannot gold the B8&B9 in the Master licence I have the B10 unlocked as silver in B8&B9 but not attempted it yet. I think I just ran out of talent! I watch the demos on the game and note mph in corners placement of the car when to accelerate and I can match or even go a couple mph quicker but never get gold! I have done 18.038 on B8 gold is 18.020 and on B9 I have done 20.731 and gold time is 20.730 Think game taking mick out of me lol
I have tried adjusting TC ABS even put Stability Management on and tbh only TC seems make any difference as to the car sliding but time wise is pretty much the same.
Not sure if I not set up right or just run out of talent.

If I had to guess I would say you brake a tad too early and likely accelerate too late. You probably lose most of the time a corner exits, as I guess you're too conservative there. Again, just a guess.

Has anyone managed gold on Master IA8 post-update? It's the only one where I'm absolutely miles off. I have gold on all other tests (except master S, but I only just started on those, and the 2 I've tried so far I at least feel like gold is doable)

No, I only got a silver time, I think the Spa one will be the easiest for me because the CLK has a stable braking system, plus it does not slide when I'm going through a corner or turn. I love those kinds of cars where they are stable during the ride. Just watch the demo driver and see what lines and braking points he/she takes. That's the best advice I can give you.

I realise that PD reset the times for medals, depending on physics changes (I golded original S10 license with the 917K at Spa, by over 3 sec, then they reset it :-( ). But, geez, I'm having problems with this one.

I only got lucky and earned a gold time on the Brands lap attack once and that was before PD made the new updates. Don't worry dude, just watch the demo and some Youtube guides. You'll learn a lot more watching theKie25 and Tidgney. They are excellent teachers and pros at this stuff. Even try practicing an MT run at Brands Hatch on a separate trial and get a feel of the track, that's my usual method.

I would just say drive faster lol.
 
Yeah, driving faster is the key, and then you can change your name to "Capt. Quick". xD
But first you must earn at least silver in every single test, mission and all the sectors and lap attacks in the CE.
