The following turns can cause you to over steer and get you into a 360 degree over steer situation for which there is no correction that you can make to get you back on track. Turn 10 and 11 at Bruxelles corner. Turn 12 at Ponhon just at the start of the turn. Next two turns are also prime for possible over steer. And last the Chicane, turn 19 and 20 were if you are not careful especially when passing that can get you into trouble if there are race cars ahead of you and you are trying to pass either on the inside or the outside. Picking the correct tire can also be a problem as the rain tires were never fully developed in GT-6. I recommend any soft compound tire for the rain that is not a rain tire. Second the Cadillac spins wheels “Big Time” and when the wheels are spinning you are not going anywhere fast. And last I would loosen up the suspension a bit.
Safety concerns still remain, with the challenging Eau Rouge and Raidillon section seeing a number of serious crashes occurring in recent years, despite the various track alterations. Indeed, the wider run-off could in some part be contributing to the problem, encouraging drivers to over-commit and run wide, perhaps less fearful of the consequences. Races now regularly see drivers leaving track limits and rejoining the circuit in the path of following cars, creating another new hazard to avoid. Serious collisions have occurred during the FIA WEC and Spa 24 Hours in recent years to set alarm bells ringing, but the tragic death of Anthoine Hubert in a multi-car collision during the 2019 F2 feature race may serve to bring further new changes to try and prevent a repetition.
