CHIC RACE 2 - update

There is a little bit of time left on the track but I'm done for this round. As a test I turned SRF on and even with a few mistakes I was 2.5s up on this run.

With SRF off am only achieving 8:22 possible 21 because I only tuned the TAKATA for SRF on.. my fastest race is in 8:12 region.I tried the no tune stock with oil change last night was only getting 9:22:scared: awesome pick hugh:tup:

While this week running we don't have much to say .
Latest news behind the scenes is that a sample from Torreto traveling to WADA to solve the mystery for his outstanding fast drive at Fuji speedway.
Time will tell and non confirm rumors saying that is hilarious to believe that belongs to the alien nation and the above vid is fake ,Paddy never was a Martian or something else and all this caused because they are jealous and want to destroy his reputation .
Except Comedian no one was brave enough to take part on the fiat challenge , so still we don't know where fear is hiding.
Finally the Comedian manage to untune his GTR and wrote a valid time at no tune while the other guys are not revealing their true effort and turning around oilless , horseless,tyreless and all the less they can think of.
Stay tune will be back ,have a nice week.

So it turns out that I used the wrong tyres in my first NO-TUNE attempt :banghead:

You need 8 sec. to catch me .
If you find them ,let me know ( not the last day ) cause i have left 2-3 sec here and there but didn't want to pick them up .
I want to study Noel's school even if i don't have a chance since is inside view .
If you steal my 10th win i will " heat" you permanently :lol:

Unless the 8 seconds are hidden under my bed I'm not sure I can find them.
I'll check now..... No no 8 seconds there, just one of my kids toys and the boogieman. Hugh stop playing with the kids toy.
 
Hugh the problem is not the tyres or pp , believe it or not can't set the ST the way i like it !!!
I try it at 500pp SS and RH tyres , different set up but always facing brake problems with unpredictable behaviour :banghead:
Also yesterday nothing went right what ever i try to play with.:boggled:
Couldn't even go under 42 at mission .
Anyway i really don't know if i can make it this time and am serious .

Bryce why do you raise the " hate" factor ?

I do it because you love it :lol:, treat em mean to keep em keen.

The five most important corners are from 1 to 5.
1. Corners leading to the longest straight. If there are several corners before the longest straightaway the corners before the last corner are throwaway corners and are not important only the last one before the straightaway is important.
2. The fastest corners on the track.

3. Any corner after the end of the longest straightaway or straightaways if there are more than one.
4. Connected corners are very important because if you mess up any of them you will not be set up for the next one’s and your rhythm will be interrupted.
5. Slow corners such as 180* hairpin.


Also when testing go slow to go fast so you can get your rhythm down for the track that you are testing at.
 
Hey guys
I've been doing some thinking lately and I've noticed that a lot of the USERS CHOICE events have been TT's, so I was thinking of replacing the USERS CHOICE events with an on going TT challenge.
The TT challenges will made by you guys as the users choice events have been.

I'm going add a poll, so please have your say, if 'yes' wins, TT WEEK will end.

As about the poll i don't know , sometimes users bring quite interesting ideas ,as the TT is a form that is always the same much or less .
Will see but i don't mind if is a TT or not. TT is an " easy " choise to the safe side and on the other hand there is not so much left to surprise with an event.

Irrelevant , by a mistake i change oil to my NSX and now i have to buy a new one :banghead: or run for 300miles to bring it down to my settings :banghead: x :banghead: since was tune stock power.

A small question also.
The two last settings at the controller pad in driving options affect something on the car behaviour ?
Is always at 1 at mine cause i i don't want the motor working and i i prefer that way.

TT's can be a bit same same, but we can set different pp, HP and tune rules so there will still be a lot if difference in each TT.
As for the users choice events we have seem to have done everything possible.

Yes they have a different effect for controller also for an instance I recently tried the super mission race 5 with the normal settings and I couldn't achieve under 7:15' when I changed the settings I was was able to get well under that with with lots of mistakes you might not notice much with the buttons but with analogue sticks I believe there's a difference.

i A International A: World Circuit Tour: Race 3. Daytona Road Course. Ford Focus ST ’13. Tune by me. No aids. Clean race. Fast lap 1:55.673. Total time 9:47.110. Pass for the win over the Alfa Romeo on lap 5 just before the Bus Stop. Winning margin 01.530.

The racing school is about clean racing and that is all. I could care less if you run with aids or not. Also whatever is the max HP run with that as the school is not about who runs the least amount of HP. I ran on the Daytona road course so I will be posting the best way to win this race. Thing's to do on the track that will help you and things to be very careful and not do so you can run a clean race as that is the goal of the school and nothing more. It is not about fast time or total time; just "clean racing and nothing more"!
 
Be very careful passing on the first corner as there is a good chance of hitting some other race car. Later on lap 2 if you have somebody right behind on corner 1 that car will try to pass you there and if they do let them go and don’t start a side by side racing as you will lose there better to let them go as you can get them at turn 2. On the infield there are only a few good corners that you can pass clean. If you pass on turn 2 you have to be on top of them if you want to pass on the inside if not pass on the outside is a better bet. On turn 3 again you will have to be on top of them to pass there and same with turn 4 and 5 and 6 just before the straight. Remember passing on the long straight is always the best as “drafting is king at Daytona”. The bus stop is a crap shoot again if you are not on top of them best to pass on the straight as they will cut you off at the start of the bus top. And again when you get to turn 1 if you have a car right behind you there is a good bet you will not win that corner unless you are far ahead.
