An old timer challenges the big boys!

I must admit, I wasn't expecting to win the last one (and get second place overall if you count both divisions). I didn't think my time was that fast. I'm actually surprised no one got a sub-1 minute. It seemed possible to me.
Anyway, onto the challenge at hand, and oh boy. This is not a good car. At all.
Before we start, let me tell you that I ran into a glitch just before attempting the challenge. I bought Sports Hards for my Isuzu, and the game decided that my car was tuned and couldn't enter the event, just because of the new tires. I had to switch to Comfort Softs, then back to Sports Hards, to get the game to allow me to enter with the necessary tires.
I decided to try the run without SRF, as it would serve as practice for the Guns and Roses invitational I intended to do next, but quickly realized it would get me nowhere fast, so I turned it back on. And even with it, this was a tough race.
The Isuzu can do most of the corners in Trial Mountain on third gear, around 100 km/h, sometimes a little faster. Letting the car glide through the turns with little or no accelerator input seems to work well with this car. If you can get to second place on Lap 3, and have the entire last lap on clean air, beating the GT-R is possible, but unfortunately, I couldn't do it for now.
I'll probably try and cheese this one later by resetting until the GT-R doesn't show up, but for now, since I don't have too much time to spend on this (my mother is away on a business trip until the end of the week, so I have to take care of the house and don't have too much free time to play), this is mostly a benchmark run. My best time so far was a
7:32.923.

And now...
We've got guns, roses, and 476 prancing horses!

Ah, Silverstone. I have a love-hate relationship with this track.
Being the International layout, the one I drove the least on, and on top of it all being my first time doing any serious racing with SRF turned off, I expected to do terribly here. But actually, it wasn't so bad.
The California is a lot faster than it looks. It's definitely at a disadvantage in terms of weight, but it can definitely win races here. I already owned a Cali, but it was tuned for hotlaps that I do for practice every now and then, so to ensure I didn't mess up anything, I bought a second one, which I used for this challenge.
I tried, but Turn 4 seems impossible to do on third gear for me, at least with SRF off. A more skilled driver can probably do it in third gear, but I needed second to get the nose in. Usually, if I can get past the Fiorano before the end of Lap 1, I'm usually on pace for a decent run. Usually, getting a good time involves passing the lead Huayra into or before Stowe on Lap 3. With SRF off, it's important to avoid contact with the AI as much as possible, as the car tends to get loose if you rub against their side a little too hard.
Again, this is mostly a benchmark run as I don't have too much time to play right now, and I don't even know if it's a good time or not, since apparently no one has done this particular challenge yet, but my best time so far was a
3:30.880. Satisfactory for now, but I can definitely do better.
