NO-TUNE R7 (2nd try)

I raced it around midnight yesterday but I was too sleepy to upload… the hunt continues… :D:scared:

Ciao

No, I do door to door racing on my first lap, no crashing into cars to get a faster race time or you can use your horn on your car, so the AI know your coming 👍.
The AI would easily be the most disappointing & frustrating part of the whole GT franchise for me.
A total slap in the face & insult to the intelligence of anyone that has followed circuit based motorsport on any level.

The point I’m trying to make is, although I tried to race clean as if stewards & penalties applied, sometimes it was just about impossible, especially when they’re the ones making contact.

I applaud anyone that tries to race clean but I know the struggle of dealing with the AI - if you can call it that.

Apologies for the silence, I've been struggling with a bit of personal issues... dont want to moan to all of you guys as if you're a psychiatrist so I wont... :boggled: but anyway here's my no tune challenge submission.

Absolutely trash, i know. This one was with 1tcs and no asm, and it was all over the show. Slipping, sliding, man I hate RR cars... tried it again with asm on, and although it was much more stable it was slower, though to rub salt in the wound when I was finally on a really good one, I rolled it on the last lap... stupid chicane... :(

Might give the battle a crack now then. I picked a car after all.

Also, I only just looked at the results from that "no practice, one hit wonder" challenge and... wow!

Now, here's my battle results this far. Much better!! The SLK has the advantage of being tunable, while the FT-1 is just flat out higher pp, even when the SLK's maxed... all in all, I'd say I did alright. :D definately upped my mood for today, that's for sure.

Thank you @Pete05 for the great post. 👍👍👍 You get what Noel and I do. Our times are gonna be slower due to fact we don't touch the AI cars even if we have a run on the them. I drive a lot from the roof view and if the AI make contact and my car shows damage as wrinkles in the paint I restart the races. If I have a run and don't make it to the corner before the AI and I hit one I restart. I think if everyone was doing that, the posted fast times would be so much slower and I believe the hub drivers would be closer together. It is dishearting sometimes to come in last driving it like a real race. I also hate front wheel drive cars. PD did a good job in GT5, but in 6 they are terrible IMHO.:cheers:Maybe we need a Steward to Watch each of the races.
