Took the BMW for a spin, good car this one at Max HP and min kg as it didn't really need any tuning.

I think the FXX was scared as it took over 10 tries to get it in the line up, and it should of been being scared because once it showed up it got it's ass kicked.

Race to the Hills!

Apricot Hill Raceway.jpg

Now we head to Apricot Hill for this challenge. The two long straights will help a lot here, as unlike most other No Tune challenges, we're using a car that is fast on a straight line, but struggles a bit in the corners.

For the first few attempts, I was suffering with understeer, but once I got the hang of the C4's handling and got used to the track, I managed to get on the groove and start racing for real.

We brake as late as we can into turn 1 to overtake the NSX and the Skyline Coupe. And right ahead of us is a run killer early on. The Evo X tends to block us into turn 4, and if that happens we lose a lot of time. We need to dive into his inside before that happens.

We now have our sister car, the C4 Grand Sport, up ahead. The best place to pass him seems to be Turn 7, the long left hander before the second big straight. We can then pass the Lotus Omega down the big straight, but sometimes we may not have enough speed, so we might need to wait for the hairpin to get him.

At this point, we usually get clean air until the end of Lap 1. Sometimes, we can reach the ZZ-S before it overtakes the Jaguar, but usually the next car ahead is the Jaguar S-Type. If the ZZ-S passed the Jaguar before we got to it, it will open a gap to it, and we just pass the Jaguar into turn 1. If we can get to the ZZ-S before the Jaguar is overtaken, we can get both of them into turn 1.

We will not catch the Charger until the end of Lap 2, at which point the ZZ-S will be right on its tail if it managed to overtake the Jaguar. We can usually get both of them at the chicane, just before the final corner. And now, it's time to catch the leading Elise on Lap 3.

And now things get interesting, because unlike in other challenges, we have the power advantage this time. The C4 will gain so much time on the Elise on the two big straights that the Elise's cornering advantage will be rendered useless. We can get him just out of Turn 7, coming into the second big straight. And after that, just dash for the finish.

After a few runs, my best time was a 4:50.184. A decent time, but I lost a run that was arguably better by getting blocked by the Lotus Omega in Turn 7, so it's not really the best I could have done.

Yesterday i came home about 10  and today just before 9  and :banghead: together.
Anyway don't want to miss another lesson and just take a short no tune ride of 4 runs and then took the Z8 to get the feeling with first line up come out.

So after no tune quick ride

After Snow White's run at 4.50 i double check if something was wrong about my set up cause that vette was used for the lowest pp win once at like the wind race .
Its 482 pp am i right ?
And wasn't a good race on all laps since third one was the slowest of all !!!

This time Goodwood is not to my side ,i hardly gold it after many DNF attemps and deffinetly i don't see touching the previous performance.

4 Car Relay
4crelay.jpg
I raced two grids, the first grid had a slow car finish first, and this was very clear in the results. So those cars typically finished:
1st Tuscan Speed 6, 3rd One-77, 4th S206 NBR..., 5th Charger SRT8, 6th Gallardo LP 560-4, 7th RS6, 8th Carlton, 9th M3 CSL, 10th T350C

5000 m Sprint
42.052
viisituhatta.jpg
I intended to have ten properly documented attempts. Then I remembered that with an oil change, there should perhaps be 1100 bhp. So I started ten more, never paying attention to the fractions, but I forgot to add one, so did a 21st as well. After looking at all the pictures I collected these results and list in order of appearance:
42.988 42.740 42.779 43.367 43.168 43.179 42.717 42.781 42.694 42.855 42.228 42.161 42.255 42.283 42.358 42.133 42.202 42.176 42.164 42.201 42.052

I forgot to do an oil change last time, which contributed to the slower time as the extra power really helps on the straights here. Getting an easier field than last time also helped, but I still can't come anywhere close to @smoothbore12

Probably just a bad car/track combo for me.

Perhaps is bad compo as it was for me Lotus at Monaco ( ok then i was tragic not slow ) .
Thought that was my settings wrong or that something you do wrong cause i didn't play it more than 3 times.
I think a time near 40 - 41 is achievable for dv2 players if everything goes right but with " if "..... Nobody get the girl at the end.
I loose much time due to AT when i start uphill sector cause stays on second gear and another thing at that track is that you must take the damn S properly otherwise the sand cut your speed or you travel to the gravel which might not cut you down but you can't accelerate properly again.
If you manage the sliding rear end to work with you ,i think you will easily improve .

I'm sorry, it is National B, 5 Minute Races, Race 3.

No tune/62.

4:52.468

My favourite race was the last out of a modest number of tries. Not because it was much faster for me. :)
Had a funny situation braking in "the zone" (if you go without ABS, you understand for sure). If I'm not mistaken it was much like this: the car got so lively that I thought it was going to snap oversteer in a way that no lightning arms could catch it. Instead all that happened was that the car went much wider (to the left of the track) on entry, which may have gotten rid of quite a bit of time for lap three:

Greetings from the Super F world
Its getting worst day by day ,today i leave at six and come back at 10.30

Anyway just run a bit yesterday but couldn't find time in the morning to upload it.
Its about 5000 sprint with really bust my b.....bra ? Whatever .
Ruin enough better attempts till find the F live timing cause i was searching for data logger but couldn't find him of course :boggled:
Choose an alternative car and of course i use Nos as Saint did but Hugh didn't at his run and sm quite sure about it.

So am at 41.899 cause the F pause just don't work :banghead:
when i pause it the time vanish ,how the F ( ferrero Roche) you do this ?!!!!

@smoothbore12
I failed my first shot! I tried to hit the start button about 1 to 2 seconds before, but any time after the boost is gone would work I guess. Then had the phone focus on the screen, continue the run and let the phone button when I heard the timer sound from the game. I do not have fast reactions but I think there was a second or even much more left then. It's harder to get... how many cars are there? Well let's say to get a half a second of draft from 80 % of them without scrubbing the v. That is a challenge.

I pause the game just before I cross the sector line, then I get my phone ready on camera and unpause the game and take a photo as my time comes up.

I just worked out that the Nissan GTR NISMO '14 isn't a street car, so this time will not count.

Sorry mate.

4 Car Relay: 0:34.672 + 0:36.916 + 0:37.432 + 0:39.595 = 2:28.015

I probably got a bad field, may have to redo this one later, but as of now, this is the best I can do. No fancy write-up this time, as there's really not much to write about a one-lap race on an oval track.

By the way, @RMan72 probably read his calculations wrong. His actual time in this event is a 2:26.342. Most likely, he forgot to read it as seconds. (146 seconds = 2 minutes 26 seconds)

Only 80 km on odometer. I had to dial TCS (and ABS) to zero on load, as if I had forgotten on my test...
I can't say for sure what my plan was anymore, so I'll just note that without the rubberbanding-to-whomever, this one would be less rough at the edges.
