Yesterday i spent my time trying to design the upcoming no tune event ,had to pick a " cheap " race car and try some test runs and thats all.
Boss you gave me 1 second bonus at no tune ,is 45 not 44 .
As about the future of the hub ,the future of ps5+GT 7 we have a long way ahead .
We use to say here : God ,hear our plans and laugh .
In fact nobody expects what happens this year with the pandemic and how the countries economic mess up .
Many people lost their jobs due to quarantine and the measures are taken and many people are in trouble anyway.
Nobody knows if the new year will be "better " or worst than this one ,so we keep walking to the unknown having our hopes each one of us.

Yea true i found switching up a gear at the turns more settling for the LSD 3rd is the best option less wheel spin

I was trying that, but I'm still 12s off @smoothbore12 .
I'm hoping it's a combination of

1. I don't really do the "make-believe" tracks
2. I don't really do AI
3. This is a pretty weird car in terms of top speed limitation, power, handling and diff setup.

All excuses I know, but I think I would really struggle to get my time below 6:53.

Oh, and that's me done for this round. Homework handed in, and I hate that hill.

The " how " is on my vid at my post .
You can find also lap times from 2nd 3rd and all last lap.
Of course i had SRF on , and deffinetly can be improved since i had errors on first lap plus that's possible to reduce lapping times margin from best to worst .
@bjl23 is close to me and i think he will pass me if i not improve my time ( am almost sure about it ) since is way better than me at the uphill sector .
Perhaps with aids of might be difficult ( didn't even try it ) but as i run the only problem was the lack of top speed .
Also was from the few times that i didn't cut the final S ( we talked about it in the past ) and as i said I'll keep it that way if i run this again.
Cutin the S gave me a 1.38 high which means possible time close or under 6.40 that way .
Anyway am staying on the " cleaner " side but am surprised why you found it so difficult :confused:

i don't see any track that I don't like a problem when trying to figure out the best line to oproch the IA that's what I focus on nothing else matters real or not it's the learning that helps in awkward sichawasons specially noels racing school that we all have a good interest in at the hub 👍
 
It's not that I hate it, I just don't do it very often, same for fantasy tracks. Nothing against them, its just that I have spent much more time racing solo on world tracks.

I tend to treat learning as a precious resource.... time spent training your mind is surely the most precious thing there is right? Fantasy tracks or AI from a 7 yr old game are not really transferable skills, so I don't bother learning them.. I read or practice guitar instead. The fact that I feel I am still learning other useful stuff from GT6 is testament to how good it really is.

If I have a dislike with AI, it would be the different fields of AI drivers which makes each reload of the game different. It feels like the increased randomness of real life drivers would counterintuitively make for a more repeatable performance

That said, I am not particularly keen on trial mountain. I dont like having the shortcut option, slow corner after the tunnel isn't nice. Even the monkey is annoying!

As for Trial mountain its one of the CLASSIC tracks of the game and quite enough people favourite track.
At GT7 no shortcut available at final S .
As for the car has a sweet spot that if you not exceed ,it flows marvellous even if is sliding and smoking .
Doesn't need late braking or late lift off ,you throw it in the corners and there is a spot that you can hit throttle keeping on the sliding and close the line without surprises .
Too early and you miss the apex for good ,too late and the inertia will push you out of line since is quite heavy car.
@bjl23 ,here is your " mark" and since the others not interesting that much there's your chance.
I change steering senc. to 2 instead of zero and my BB is stock 5-5.
At the final S didn't brake at all ,just lift off the throttle ,slide and try to survive :lol:

Thanks Babis, yes I know, I love our little community.. I thought even earlier to make private chat so we can share(who wants) our mails or phone numbers or social media (I don't use fb or ig but still) so we can try to stay in touch even if someone goes away from here without warning signs :P

It's a good idea about sharing emails, numbers etc. Noel and myself just shared emails with each other a few days ago.
