Took some advices from Paddy (thanks dude) but still didnt have enough credits for some tuning parts
So with faster car, and still horrible driving (I'm not having a good day) my first goal is accomplished (sub 8:00).
I uploaded a vid of 7.59 not because its good driving but to have memory of my struggles.
If Ill have time I'll try to make better car and drive better to chase Paddy and probably Hugh, maybe Thematic and so on

Memorize all 157 corners like I did and you will be just fine. Derek Bell my racing mate who won Le Mans 5 times told me that and I did. I can run it in my sleep:cheers:!

I think I might know all of them, but when you have bad day and you're tired, 800hp on comford hard tyres doesn't really help :P

Good morning, afternoon, evening gentlemen, I was testing the time of the TVR and I could not do anything with that car, there was no way I could control it, if I had completed a lap I would have barely been able to go down a little from the 9min,running that car without help and with those tires is already very rough for me hehehe

Since tuning is allowed, you can put the power down to 450 bhp. Then it should be about as quick as a ca. 500 performance point mass produced car. As you didn't say that you absolutely gave up on it.

well, i thought about doing it but i felt it was like cutting off the challenge's legs, i managed to do some time but forgot to take the full screen shot so i have to try again hehe

When i was designing the invitational, I realised there would be a whole load of strategies, eg, PP limit, high gearing, aero, mad drifting an so on, I thought it would be interesting to see which worked best.

Well fully tuned is fastest..
I'll be back at this one.. I think there's maybe 10 more seconds over my lap time.. But don't know when, don't have much time :boggled:

btw where is your time?

btw 2 offtopic if you want to run hatchbacks or something online on ring, we should test cars and host together. I started testing today but just gave up after saw how slow Lancia Delta is :boggled:

Originally I set out to go some faster than my not-grinded Ruf CTR on the same rubber. That is very much achieved. Quite a few tries were with 645 bhp, but today I made one lap, as shown, with these:
Weight: Stage 3 & carbon bonnet = 943 kg.
Power: 797 (ghost 645 bhp)
Part(s): Racing suspension: hard. Wait, that's default. Okay, no parts.
Ride height 80 70
Camber 0
Downforce 240 420

The mass being more to the front and the pressure more to the rear is... at least a little amusing. Throttle can give you oversteer where the danger isn't actually spinning, but the extreme understeer that follows if you don't ease off in time.

the lancia delta here in gt6 has a tremendous understeer, they destroyed its handling compared to gt5 which handles very nicely, and I have also noticed what you say, they put excessively long gears and the car feels very lazy

I don't know, I never run it on GT6 because it's so horrible on 5 and it's one of my favorite cars. Feels impotent. Makes no sense, was racing some guy today on GT5 online against Megane Sport (older one) on Tsukuba and I'm usually faster than this guy and I get that on straight Megane would go away but I brake better, turn in better than him and am on throttle earlier than him and still FF Megane pulls away on corner exit against Delta, it was annoying :banghead:
