I AM BACK!! All my exams are finished! Had my last one yesterday! I may be able to get onto GT6 (and my PS3) finally after this long absence, think it was a bit over a month...
I am looking forward to being able to tackle the Nurburgring and hopefully be able to give these upcoming challenges hell (as much hell as I can give anyway, not that I can compare to the skill of all of you YET! Slowly but surely I hope to improve with time and experience.
Anyway! I hope to be able to run my heart out on GT6 over these 2 weeks of holidays coming up!:gtpflag::gtpflag:

Also, got a question! From my research it seems that there 'was' a GTP app for both iOS and Android? Yet when I went to see if I could download it on Android a few days ago, NOTHING CAME UP! :confused:

So what's the deal? At this present time is there a GTP app for mobile devices, and if there 'was' one, what happened to it?

I'll just go though some things with you as a refresher,
Everything you need to know about each event is on posts #1 to #4

The ON-TUNE CHALLENGE is open to everyone all the time, please don't get intimidated by the times @RMan72 and @lfm58 do as they are normally the front runners. (unless your faster than them)
The rest of us normally race against each other for 3rd and have our own banter (@smoothbore12 normally calls me names:lol:)
And remember even if you don't ever win a NO-TUNE CHALLENGE (like me) it enters you into the invitationals.

The invitationals are random style events, some are open to everyone others are invite only.
These events are normally designed so anyone can win.

We do use Nicknames from time to time,
@smoothbore12 is the official nickname giver, to receive a name you must enter 3 NO-TUNE races.

Yeah that how it was but after all the people that were here for 5 minutes i told @smoothbore12 they have to earn it now.

My attention is at the " tin can" :D , in 50k i did a 26 but didn't take a shot hopping that i can do it again .
Am trying to find a way to make that S2 " work" , he realy piss me off .
I just like the one end trying to separate from the other and under heavy breaking ........ you need a runway to stop.

Trying everything , wing ,aero ,nos ( ok i feel shame now :ouch: ) this is the best i got.
Also my first lap was faster than the 2nd cause of a huge off at the end of the big straight at the start ......:banghead: but am done..

Off course am dead sure that Boogeyman will rase the barrier but thats life .

National A MR Challenge Race 2 Trial Mountain liked it’s never been raced before meaning “Clean race”. Tune by Lotus. No aids. Cockpit race on replay view. Pass for the win over the Ford GT40 Mark 1 on the first lap. Fast lap 1:36.163. Total time 4:50.139. Loving this little known Lotus Elise 111S. Only raced one time:lol:.

It takes patience to be smooth in the race. Bide your time and you can run clean then have open track to stay on the track and not bounce off the walls or go through the grass. We are the old guys that have wisdom,seasoning and Noel is still a racing instructor at 73 years old.
 
The secret to winning here is at the very start of the race you hit every possible car that you can to get a clean track. Then bounce of the walls and run over every blade of grass or dirt and you too will win a race. I came over to this Hub because I thought it was a better quality of racing. In the beginning I felt it was. I guess it is the difference between gamers and racers. As a former real life race car driver(33 years) all of the things that were drilled into me in my career fall into the same category when I race here. I don't have the time or physical ability to sit in front of the Playstation and run the events 50 times. I'll continue to race the way I always have and don't expect to win anything.

Nos belong to the past ( i did in the begining ) but not now @RMan72.
The problem was the tune to make it a bit drivable , also the use of rear wing ,for the eye , its quite ridiculous
but i use it.

I will also just race the way I race. I know I'm slow but patient. I just don't want to think I lost because of the bashing and cutting or NOS.

Hey everyone I hope you guys are well.

After round 10 of the BATTLES I'm going to make some changes to how it works, as I'm finding it tricky to keep up with who has BATTLED against who especially with people coming and going, BATTLE#11 will be the first of the new rules.

So everyone who enters in BATTLE#10 will have the right to choose a car for BATTLE#11 and everyone who enters BATTLE#11 will have the right to choose a car for BATTLE#12 and so on, if you don't enter in #10 you can still race the cars in #11 which will give you the right to choose a car for BATTLE#12, etc.

You will need to race all the cars in the BATTLE to have the right to choose a car for the next BATTLE, once you have raced all the cars I will PM you the next BATTLE details (a week in advance maximum).

Everyone will choose a car but as we may have 4 or more people in the BATTLE they will run for 2 weeks, as normal the car you find is the fastest will get your point the car with the most points wins.
Your point will not be awarded to your own car, so you can choose to race your own car or not. As long as you race all the other cars.

Rules when choosing a car:
Street/tuner cars only, no race cars,
500,000cr max,
PD rules and regulations must be followed,

Remember when you are racing you can make your own guidelines such as:
You can race each car once (ONE HIT WONDER style),
Race them 5 times each or more or less,
Upgrade cars to Max allowed PP and race them stock tune.
Tune all cars to get the fastest time possible.
Or any other ways you may wish.
