Very good idea to have created this online racing group for drivers who want to have fun.Hi everyone
We are a small bunch of guys (still) with "average" skills that we're aiming - mostly - to have fun by playing GT7.
So, every sunday (or saturday, we don'r discriminate), we organise an online event Clash of the Titans and each time, one member set the car, the track, and the rules that should be apply which sounds and is fair enough.
Average skills means that at TT's we mostly hit the silver area and golds are an exception and not the rule for us.
Definitely we belong to that " larger " group of players according to our performance and they are many players in this category, players that maybe feel " alone ", " shame " or hesitate to take part at an online event due to their skills or cause they are new on the game without previous experience or they are " old " enough to deal with new guns or whatever.
Don't worry, Clash of Titans is only for fun and will add an hour of " spice" and " fun " at your Sundays and if you're available and want to join our group, don't hesitate to ask or send a pm to @Pesselles, @smoothbore12, @Lomic and @Gorefast @MUC76 for everything you need to know.
We'll be very happy to welcome you and play together.

Yeah, it was stock unser BOP for sure. That doesn't explain why you guys were that much faster but is to consider for next time. Anyway it was good fun again and amazing close - at least from my view from the back...

The tomorrow race ( today's now )is being done already at Saturday 18 o'clock to serve some members to participate.
The next one for 24 of March could also change day and time in order to participate all or the most of us at least.
So , if you are able to join us we can discuss this in our private conversation and fix new time and even a day.
We are " flexible " on that matter cause the more we are, the more fun it is .
So @Pesseles will invite you and must be all friends together .
As about stock car , tyres are subject to change ( almost every time ) and stock are all other parameters at body and engine in road cars and engine in race cars at least till now.
Also the " designer" of the event can set rules about what aids can be used but always having in mind the fun and not to punish the field .
We're all newbies to this but we enjoy it fully and the most important is :
Everyone can win .
Since isn't a TT that someone can be quick running alone but race is totally different thing.
We respect its other ( ok shirts happens sometimes š ) and you must respect track limits otherwise you get a nice penalty .
Steady and clean driving is usually needed to give the prize to the winner and not speed alone .

Our reports from the Grandstands and the spectators,reveals that the view from outside was kind like this
From the paddock side we catch an image with @MUC76 and @Gorefast trying to arrange the way to win the race for Germany.
Although @Gorefast couldn't stand up to the race demands and his performance was kind of
@Pesselles was clear from the beginning, he just don't want Smoothbore12 to win
@Lomic had an accident with Daniel but race stewards clear this immediately
@MUC76 try to save something for Germany starting from first place but at the end he admit it
And some exclusive from lomic and Pesseles dog fight
And finally a statement from the winner !!!

I was too far back to risk anything from both of you. And won the last race only because @smoothbore12 bottled the tunnel entrance and I had more power and decided to go full throttle until the finish line (nearly) š

As one part of the german team "sandals on the beach" I had to review race 3, where @Gorefast had a great run, stopped by a grand valley rock. Now I know. It was neither the fault of a sandal nor the fault of the rock.
I watched the scene having a great look from P4 š
@Gorefast was giving the german shepherd at P2. Fast, straight, clean, fair, cool looking and driving a great looking orange legend made in Germany.
The Greek GOD was on P1, smelling like parfume after his bath already dreaming crossing the line and being kissed for the win.
The rusty French at P3 recognized something orange between him and his greek target.
Trying to overtake with a special move he turned the steering wheel thinking... "left, I need to turn it left to overtake, hmm left must be this, isn't it?"
Nope. It was not. So the german shepherd kissed the wall and lost the chance to get the š for team sandals.
But as everybody knows....
A sandal is never alone. And if you kick one, you are kicked by the other!

He's been lucky to have a wall of rock on his right, who knows where he would have landed in other circumstances.
From my position at the back I've seen many things, even friendly fire between sandals, but nothing to the scale of @Pesselles or @smoothbore12 racing "skills" š¤£
